Wow! This office was truly an answer to prayer. We had no dentist selected since moving to NOLA recently and my son had a badly broken tooth that needed emergency care. From the first phone call to X-rays to the dentist to leaving the office, we could not have experienced better care! Kalonda was reassuring at the front desk, Justin made my son feel at ease during X-rays, Dr. Daigle was so gentle and comforting to my son and did excellent work repairing his tooth, and Jarvis was so sweet too! Honestly so thankful for everyone! Looking forward to being patients there for years to come.

Justin and Dr. Daigle are great and will make sure you feel at home.

I came here for the new patient special because I currently don’t have insurance and wanted to get my teeth cleaned on a budget. Check in was great, X-rays went fine.

Once I got into the exam room, and Doctor Richard Scipione does my initial exam, he tells me I need some extra cleaning procedures done besides the basic cleaning.
The front desk comes in to explain pricing for the extra procedures that I “need” done, which is almost $700 more than what the new patient special was sold as.
I asked the front desk if we can stick with the basic cleaning, because $700 extra was out of budget at the moment. She, who was the most understanding, tells me it’s completely fine, and that she’ll send the doctor back in to discuss what we can do. After sitting for a while, Doctor Scipione comes back in, doesn't say anything, and just starts setting up behind me. I, obviously confused, ask him if we can talk about the next steps. He responds back very rudely that there’s nothing to talk about, he’ll do the basic, but my teeth will get worse without the extra procedures that he suggested.
We proceeded with the cleaning that he finished in about 15 minutes, which is the fastest cleaning I’ve ever heard of.
I went to the bathroom after to look at my teeth and I can still see dental tartar and calcifications in between my teeth. Sigh. What can you do?
I left the bathroom, paid, and walked out.

I didn’t catch the name of the front desk who assisted me throughout the process, but she was the only one who was understanding of my situation.
This wasn’t the greatest experience. For someone with no insurance, and a budget to stick within, don’t come to this place, because they’ll shame you for not wanting to pay extra

My son went for a general checkup and cleaning. It took over 2 hours. The X-rays had to be done multiple times due to error of the X-ray technician. He spent most of the time in the room sitting by himself and figured he had been forgotten about.
Will never return to Metairie Modern Dentistry.

They were very kind and helpful. 10/10 would recommend Justin.
