Metairie Modern Dentistry

The billing and scheduling team is horrible. I have scheduled appts and they move my appt. without my knowledge. They promise to send estimates for out of pocket expenses which I never receive. The billing is simply a disaster. I expected more from this dental office but I am walking away highly disappointed.

Amazing place. Myself and my daughter both had appointments and they were so efficient Even opened the door between our rooms so I could keep an eye on her while I was having my visit. Justin was amazing, friendly, and he really makes going to the dentist more enjoyable!

Lauren and Hannah are absolutely the best employees in this building (not sorry). I hate going to the dentist and they 100% make the visit enjoyable and one to look forward too. Give ‘em a raise please. Dr. Scorpions is very communicative and helpful - I’ve never absorbed information but his way of explaining is very comforting and easy to understand.

I went to MMD because it is walking distance to my job, but have loved everyone there since the first day! The staff is professional and very friendly and make you feel comfortable. My favorite, though, is Justin! He always has a smile on his face and treats me like family. I 100% recommend MMD for all your dental needs!

just know before you go that this dental office is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY! If you walk through their doors, you will most definitely need a crown even if you don't. The dentist is more of a high pressure salesman than a dentist, pushing those crowns like his life depends on it. That's why I'll NEVER go back to this place. They think that if you have a Smile credit card with a $5000 credit limit that you should keep it maxxed out with crowns that you DO NOT NEED! I found a REAL dentist to go to.

Dental Assistant, Jarvis was great. Very professional and efficient.

Dr. Tingstrom, Justin and Hannah were absolutely Amazing! I usually hate going to the dentist but they made the whole process seamless. Dr. T took the extra time to explain the whole process of my root canal and crown before it happened. Once it was time, she walked me through each step as it happened. Justin was an excellent compliment to her. Always taking care of or answering any questions or requests. I never felt out of sorts while I was in their care. Hannah knew I was not feeling the greatest coming in but always checked in on me and made sure everything stayed on track. The three of them have an excellent bedside manner and amazing customer service. If you need a dentist, I highly recommend Modern Dentistry in Metairie and go see Dr. T, Justin and Hannah!

The staff at Metairie Modern Dentistry are all great! Very kind and professional. They are very organized and took me in for my cleaning without much wait at all. The technology they use is top-of-the-line. Dr. Tingstrom is the best! She is very thorough and puts you at ease right away. I would recommend everyone check them out!

From the moment of walking in, and despite the mask mandate, was greeted with a smile I could read straight through the masks. From X-rays to cleaning to filling. They were super thorough which for my overthinking paranoid self was much appreciated. There wasn’t a question unanswered and it was described in a way that makes sense. I have a better understanding of teeth and how to brush. I dreaded my appointment and was totally surprised with how smooth it all went with minimal discomfort. Best practice I’ve been too ever!!
