Aspen Dental

My first visit with Aspen was wonderful. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. I especially like the "price quote" with the individual items listed singularly. The Office Manager was very helpful explaining everything regarding the billing and appointments needed to complete procedures.

I broke a front tooth and ,being new to the area, had to find a dentist in a hurry. No one close accepted my insurance but Aspen said they could do the evaluation for free since it was a first visit. They did a thorough look at my issue and found others that needed attention as well. Found me a coupon that knocked off some of the cost for at least the broken tooth to be fixed (oop) and advised to find a dentist to fix the other issues but gave me a breakdown in cost to have the others fixed over time as well. The dentist was great! Very comfortable to be around and knows what he’s doing. Planning on changing insurance to return here!

The staff here are all great. Melissa is an amazing hygienist, and takes great care of you without trying to guilt or shame you, and Dr D and all of his assistants are always so energetic and nice. I’ve always been extremely nervous about dental appointments, but everyone here makes it so much less stressful. I’ll happily continue to drive an hour to be seen here.

Everyone in the office were very kind and helpful and the dentist made me feel very at ease. The whole experience was great! The lab technician Joe did a awesome job! I highly recommend Aspen Dental!

I would not recommend Escanaba Aspen Dental. They ignored my insurance coverage and billed me, then billed the insurance company. They recommended non requested items because Aspen were deemed as "free" under my insurance, then submit the codes incorrectly so I was billed anyways. They wouldn't return my calls in a timely matter (if at all) The sales pitch to get me to commit to their treatment plan is weak. MONEY TRAP!

The staff was very friendly indeed...and then came the boom. The hygienist told me that I had periodontal disease. She also told me that I HAD to go out and buy a special toothbrush and other products that I could not afford. Then the dentist told me that I had a cavity and I needed a crown replaced. They didn't even CLEAN my teeth! I have very good insurance, but even with that, they told me that I would have to pay thousands of dollars a year to them to have treatment for the periodontal disease from them. I told them that I didn't have that kind of money and they told me to get it from my friends and family! I went to another dentist for a second opinion and guess what? I don't have any signs of periodontal disease, no cavities and no need to replace the crown..it was in good condition!!! I do NOT recommend this place to ANYONE who wants good HONEST dentistry for themselves or their families. I will be reporting THIS Aspen Dental Clinic to the insurance company and anyone else who needs to hear about them. This is outrageous practice and should be stopped!

The staff and Doctor were all very nice. However this is the second time I went to them. First time was in 2018. I went to them and was told I needed to have a periodontal scaling. Even tho I was going to a Periodontist in Green Bay for years every 3 months for cleanings. I had just retired and didn’t have insurance. Cost was 1200.00. Well I decided to go ahead and have it done and also bought one of their expensive tooth brushes they were selling. Had to move to Florida to take care of family for 3 years. While gone found a dentist and continued the 3 month cleanings. Fast forward 3 years came back home and needed a cleaning so called. Got in pretty fast. They did their exam and x-rays. Then it starts.. you need a scaling, you need your teeth straighten you need this and that to the tune of 21,000. I am 65 years old and lived with my teeth all these years!
I just feel they don’t listen or are concerned about what you can afford. They give you no options ,it’s all or nothing . I have found a great dentist now and willing to listen and work with me. I also found out why it was so easy to get into Aspen. All the other dentist were booked until February. They were not for a reason!!!!

My favorite dentist! I didn’t feel it when I got the shot of numbing meds. We are very happy with him and the team there. They are super friendly and helpful.

The staff was great! The dentist offer me different options about my teeth and didn't try to get me to spend any additional money than necessary. The office manager was great with explaining all my options.
