Deerhaven Family Dentistry

Deerhaven has been my dentist office for 8 years now. When I first started going I was pregnant with my 3rd child & my teeth were great. After my son was born I started having issues with my teeth, huge issues! Dr. Merrithew saved me from so much pain, money & he saved my teeth. He is extremely gentle when working on my teeth or giving me a shot. He is very understanding about what I’m going through. At one time or another I have seen Dr. Niergarth and Dr. Beers, all of them are extremely caring dentists. These three dentists all share the same bedside manner when caring for their patients.The staff is friendly, will do everything they can to accommodate your schedule, if you are on the cancellation list they make sure to call you if an appointment opens up. All 3 of my children go here as well, they are amazing with children & know it can be scary for them. They are understanding that not all kids think brushing their teeth is important, instead of shaming them they choose to educate about why brushed and flossing is so important to your health. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist that is outstanding, caring & honest!! You will be in amazing hands if you choose to come here!

Going the extra mile consistently. I have been going here for years and this practice is staffed with the very best people, willing and able to think outside the box and concerned with your complete solution and providing you the highest standard of Professional Care. I had issues with old fillings, past dental work, and bite anomalies. Dr. Merrithew really took time to listen and work with me, and was able to address jaw fatigue which I'd had for years.. We also discussed some cosmetic options. Friendly, reliable, knowledgeable, and Highly recommended... These doctors have even called me after hours to see how I was doing!.

Friendly Front desk staff, hygienist and Dr. Merrithew were friendly and very knowledgeable. Looking forward to this team helping me keep healthy teeth and gums. Emily did a great job cleaning my teeth and gums.

I have been to many dentists across the state of Michigan and in NYC. In fact, I even managed dental offices for almost 10 years. I must say, I have never come across a more friendly and welcoming bunch! From the reception, to the doctors assistant, the doctor and hygienist- everyone was genuinely happy to see me as a new patient and interested in learning about my personal life. I even got a hand written card in the mail after coming in! HIGHLY recommend!

Yikes, I almost said I love coming to the dentist... those words have never left my lips because I’m a big baby!! Seriously, my experience with Deerhaven is so positive and they go above and beyond helping their patients in every aspect of the visit. Penny is amazing, going so far as to find me insurance coverage, give that girl a raise!! 😀

Deerhaven has been absolutely amazing. Dr. Merrithew is beyond awesome. He is very patient, caring, knowledgeable, and understanding. He truest cares about your health and well being. He makes sure you are 100% comfortable with each thing he is doing. Everyone other staff member I have encounter is amazing as well. Very downearth people. I highly recommend this place for your dental needs.
