I had an good experience with Aspen for a dental office. Staff was knowledgeable, courteous, and timely in assisting me with my dental emergency. I would recommend them to family and friends. On scale of 1 to 10, they definitely are a ten

I had a fabulous experience at Aspen Dental Care. The staff was really caring and not judgmental about my issues. Dr. Tuan helped to arrest my nervous feelings. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable.

My mother and I ended up leaving before we were even seen. We were admittedly 8 minutes late for the appointment that was scheduled for 11:15 AM. With that being said, there was no communication that we'd have to wait over an hour to be seen. We waited patiently for an hour at which point, I inquired from the receptionist how much longer she thought it might be. She politely said that she didn't know and we'd have to see a care manager who was with a patient at the time. I understood that we had to wait, but after watching several people go in before us, it was getting frustrating. I can't image if we had have been "walk-ins," a feature they advertise on the building and throughout their literature. Ultimately we said, it's been to long, we have to leave. There was no apology or attempt to reconcile. I assume because it was around lunch and we may have been in the way. Regardless, we have been customers for about 2 years, there has been too much turnover, we've had to return dentures that we've purchased because they'd broken more than 2 times and there are other options out there now for affordable dentistry.

I had told the person making my appointment that I needed dentures adjusted
I received an appointment the same week
I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment time to make sure all the paperwork was done before my appointment. 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment I asked receptionist when I would be called.
At 1 hour after my scheduled appointment I was called . She stated I was there to get new dentures I explained again what I was there for. She then proceeds to tell me i have to be rescheduled as that was not what my appointment was scheduled for.
I now have to wait 10days to get relief on having my dentures worked on.
I'm not happy at this time but will see how the new appointment goes.

My wife and I wanted to switch to a closer dentist to where we live. We made an appointment 8 months before our next cleaning was needed. My wife said we were both new patients and we wanted to come in for a cleaning. We both were there with plenty of time I was there 35 ish min before my appointment, my wife sat for nearly 40 min before she went back and i waited about 30 min. After a ton of X rays they brought me to a room where I waited over 15 to 20 mins before someone came in did some things lady left then the Dr came in said looks good. I asked am I not getting a c leaning today? Oh no not today and they said the same thing to my wife we had now been there for nearly 1.5 hours. They told us that is schedueled after our first meet and they told us that when we made the appointment. I. Came out to find out I couldnt get in for the cleaning for almost 2 .5 months same with my wife. I am very upset. This was never told to us or else i would have had this done months ago to be able to get our cleaning done on time and today. I also felt like they were trying to sell alot of items I didnt need. Not super happy and upset about being there for that long and not getting a cleaning.

I’m literally sitting in my car crying! I’ve come here several times but today was HORRIBLE! Dr. Herbst is out for the week (I did not know until I got there) so I had to allow another dentist to work on my tooth. First off my appointment was at 3:30 and I didn’t get seen till almost 4:30. The dentist was COUGHING the entire time and said he’s had the cough for 3 weeks! My mouth looks HORRIBLE! He shortened one of my teeth! I felt like I would be disappointed because of his comments and him taking FOREVER trying to fix it. I’m so DISAPPOINTED and I will be reporting them! 😭😭😭😭😭

I would give zero starts but you can't. This is a corporate operation interested only in up selling and not treating patients. From the receptionist to the finance p[person all they seemed to care about was getting as much of your money as possible regardless of how long you have to wait. I didn't even make it in on the first appointment after waiting an hour past the appointment time.
I had an old filling that needed fixed. I was looking for a dentist close to work and chose Aspen. That was a mistake. What should have been a 45 dollar procedure turned out to be a 153 dollar up sell and a total of 3 hours of time spent just waiting, getting the initial X rays and being told what they would charge and what additional treatments I had to receive before addressing the actual problem.
Aspen wanted to fix the old filling but would not until I had an irrigation treatment on crowns and was given a fluoride treatment. Now, I had just been to a different dentist further from work in December 2017 for a cleaning and they never mentioned the need for any of this. By March 2018 my teeth evidently had serious issues per Aspen.
I was a little surprised at this additional work and the cost. 153 dollars won't break me but seemed high considering all I needed was a 45 dollar filling procedure. I took their itemized list and left.
I contacted my insurance company and went over the list. They assured me their partners, Aspen in this case, should not have forced me into the irrigation and that the fluoride treatment being recommended was actually a procedure for children.
With the help of my insurance company I arranged for a visit to a different dentist, further from work, the next day. The wonderful people at Premier Dental in downtown St. Louis got me in the next day. They repaired the old filling without issue. They advised the gum lines on the crowns looked OK but could not fully read the poor x-rays transferred from Aspen dental.
Another interesting comment from Premier was if the gums were receding from the crowns the no amount of irrigation and fluoride treatment would fix the issue. Only replacing the crown would fix the issue.
Aspen Dental to me = poor scheduling, no care for the customers and horrible business practices. I hope this review saves someone else a load of time.

Our first time visit was prompt and the customer service desk manager was polite and even welcomed us in at the door, as we were early for the appt. The staff and the dentist were all pleasant and informative. No long waits and an in and out affordable appt, I couldn’t ask for anything more!

Unfortunately I had to wait 3 mos for appointment. The staff was friendly, however the prices were OUT OF THIS WORLD. I've had many many people recommend Aspen Dental from across the nation because of their affordability and payment plans. This practice had neither and because of such I'm forced to find other options. The practice is clean.
