If your apprehensive about going to the dentist due to the pain sometimes involved, the search is over. My deep cleaning and crown prep work was handled by the best in the industry. Very critical for me is (1) use a lot of topical numbing cream & apply in the right area. (2) The doctor must be a mastermind in the application of Novocaine and his needle sticking techniques must be flawless! GET YOUR SMILE RIGHT OR GET YOUR BREATH IN CHECK, IN AS FEW VISITS TO THE DENTIST AS POSSIBLE & WITH NO PAIN! DR Aman Sheikh & his assistant Caprice, really know their profession. Hats off to Santiago who checked me in. The experience you get in the back really starts at the experience you get as you walk through the front door. I could go on and on because I've been bringing my wife here for many years but I took the dive & the water feels good good good. Jump on in and stop taking pictures with your mouth closed or having short conversations because no one wants to say, " yo breath is kicking... Check out Gentle Dental Charleston I'll never know you did but you'll say dang, he was right!!!

My experience with this location as been mixed at best. I was referred here by the Rancho location for wisdom teeth removal. On my original appointment day I paid $1800 but could not get the procedure because my blood pressure was too high (ok- that's on me). It was rescheduled twice (once because I got Covid and once because all surgeries for that day were cancelled). The first was my responsibility and I called and notified the office. In the second instance, nobody called me to notify me about the cancellation and I only found out because I called and asked as I hadn't received a confirmation. I finally had the procedure over two weeks ago but as I received a different type of sedation, I was told the price was around $1100. I asked if I would receive a refund for the difference of $700 and was told that as I was receiving sedation, they could not discuss finances with me (even though I hadn't yet received it at that point) but that someone would be calling me in the following week to do the refund. No one called me and I have called a total of four times over the past (almost three weeks now) to get my money. I wait on hold for sometimes up to 45 minutes total and then am told that it is still being processed and that someone will definitely call me back soon (this never happens). I called Monday and was told that someone would call me by Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning at the latest (I still have not received this call). I called again today and asked for a manager but apparently, the manager is in a "meeting" and I was told that my only option was to leave a voicemail. This I did but I am beginning to think this office is just trying to scam me out of my money. On top of all of the above, I did not receive any antibiotics when my wisdom teeth were removed and was sent home with paperwork saying I should start feeling better within 3-4 days. I know that my bottom tooth was in a difficult position but if they knew it would take longer to heal, I think they should have told me. It took over a week and a half before I started feeling any better (the pain medication I was given was a four day supply). When I called the office and told them I was still very sore and swollen after a week (which the paperwork I was sent home with told me to do), they said they couldn't really do anything and that I should call the other location. When I call, the people that answer the phone (when they answer at all) are very nice but this doesn't do anything to solve my concern.

I've been to this dentist dozens of times in the last few months to get extensive work done. I've seen 2 different specialists here and they've all been great. Dr. Sheikh has been wonderful and gentle. I'm very afraid of shots but they accommodate me. I've been very happy with all of my results!! They have had some minor appointment issues here and there

Staff is really friendly from the moment you walk in, Santiago greeted me very professionally, Jason took care of me in the back and was awesome! Dr. Aman Sheikh was also very friendly and helpful. Both him and Jason answered any question I had. Thank you guys.

I tried 2 other general dentists and one endodontis before finding this fantastic, comprehensive practice. Don't waste your time, choose Gentle Dental first! Everyone here is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The offices are beautiful and meticulously maintained. If trust and professionalism are important to you, this is the place.

Dr Sheikh, Gordon and all the staff are Fantastic.
I have been going to see Dr. Sheikh a few yrs now and won’t go anywhere else .
I just started again with new treatments because of COVID.. I ended up having to have a lot of work done AGAIN. Unfortunately I had a hard time getting in to see Dr. Sheikh, but finally I am now able to see him.
I love the staff and Dr. Sheikh. They are the BEST!!
I won’t go anywhere else. Doc makes u feel comfortable and explains what the problems are and
how to proceed.

Talk about an appropriately named dentist office!! Doctor Sheikh is the first dentist in my 60 years of occasional dental work that caused absolutely zero pain when he gave the shots for numbing. And his skill at drilling was, again appropriately named, gentle. I am still in amazement that I came out of a dentist office not feeling as if I had been somehow abused. The doctor and every member of the staff that I have encountered are delightful people. I cannot recommend Dr Sheikh and Gentle Dental more highly!

Love love love, it was amazing especially my dentist her name was Capri She had such an amazing soul and was easy to talk too. She asked me if I was going to collage and started to get to know me as we were proceeding with my teeth and made sure I was comfortable.
Another dentist I didn’t catch his name but he had a very happy soul and he stated talking about his family and I added things about my family. He also had music where he was working and I was listening and singing along to it as well.
All in all my first experience was amazing and I can’t wait to go to my next appointments and to get to know the others who work there.

The best dental experience I have ever had. Everyone should experience this office. Very professional, considerate, and efficient staff. Dr Aman Sheikh is the best at what he does. He makes you feel very comfortable.
