Gentle Dental Warm Springs

This place is SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL!!. I had an appointment back in November. An hour before my appointment they called to cancel because the doctor was on vacation. I never set up another appointment. Yesterday I got a call asking to set up an appointment. I asked how much would it be with my insurance. The person said $1,000 and it does not include the anesthesia. I called my insurance and they said no one ever contacted them to verify that amount. I called back to the dentist office and she said she was giving me “worst case scenario.” Fine, we booked the appointment for this up coming Friday. Today I got a missed call from Jaylen in the office expressing I need a referral for my upcoming appointment 🤯. What was the point of calling me to set up an appointment in the first place? UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

I’m here right now. I just had a deep cleaning and I’m cavity filled. I get a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist. Coming here is easy the staff is great! My hygienist explain exactly what was going on and what he was going to do. He didn’t have to numb me either. My dentist did numb me and did a great job, VERY LITTLE pain and it was fast (the needle thing is something I REALLY don’t like).

Anyway. Go here. People are great and good at their job.

I went here growing up and never had any problems. After not having insurance for 2 years I was looking for a dentist and figured I'd come back to the place I went as a kid. This place is great and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to get your teeth checked out. I've had plenty work done here ranging from the simple teeth cleaning all the way to having a tooth implant done. The staff always make you feel welcome.

I highly recommend Gentle Dental Warm Springs. Dr. Ransdell is my dentist hear.is excellent and efficient doctor. She has done 5 crowns me and they all fit perfectly. I am so happy with my new teeth and smile.

My kids were seen in the office today and like normal we were in a rush to get the girls from our appointment to softball on time! Martha and the staff at gentle dental always make it happen ! Jen was quick at putting the chart up and notifying Martha that we were in a hurry! Dr Dettlaff was great as always and check out was a breeze thank you Janise.

Wisdom teeth removal here and they gave me minimal instructions on care, didn’t personalize the consultation or surgery. Felt treated very generalized and like charity work by the orthodontist. Dentlaff is amazing however when surrounded by a team who underperforms there’s only so much that can be done. Didn’t schedule a follow up for after my surgery with the orthodontist and the phone works maybe twice throughout the week. Will be transferring to another dental office

This office is very excellent. From Marly to At the front desk to Janise with the follow up appointment. Martha was so sweet when she called me into the patient room to take my xrays. She was so personable and made me feel very comfortable. I enjoyed her tender care. She spoke to me in a very kind way and tenderly took my xrays as if she was taking care of her own child being very gentle. When Dr. Dettlaff came in he was very kind which made me feel comfortable. He explained what he was going to do first then he proceeded gently. He reassured me that they were going to take excellent care of me. He seriously addressed my concerns and made preparations to care for them. Just in this one visit,I am confident that I am in the right place for my dental care.Janise was very kind when I came out to help me schedule my follow up and answered all my questions kindly. She was efficient in her job and handled matters professionally. Angel came out and wanted to know if everything when well. She was very kind and caring to make sure I was pleased. This office is awesome, the entire staff lives up to the company name of being Gentle and Kind. I will never go anywhere else.

STAY AWAY!! Worst dental place ever!
They first tried to way overcharge me to get crowns and tried to blame it on the insurance company, which was not true!! I paid $140 Out Of Pocket for a Deep cleaning that they said I needed. I found out later that a deep cleaning is supposed to take 45 mins to an hour, I was literally in an out of the cleaning chair in about 15 minutes!! I went back 2 times, once to get a copy of my treatment medical records (which they could not figure out how to print them, I stood there for about 20 mins.) and the 2nd time to get my x-rays, NOT ONCE did anyone ask me for identification and just gave me the documents and x-rays!! BEWARE!!

I'm greatful for this office. Removed my tooth with no pain Dr Dettlaff was amazing. When injection was given felt nothing. Staff was absolutely awesome so kind. Janise ,Jen, Courtney and Marley all made sure I felt taken care of!! Thank you gentle dental

Not sure how this gentle dental has 5 stars cause it's definitely not 5 star. Courtney who takes the calls is very short and rude. I called and she placed me on a hold for 4 mins saying she was going to pull up my information and then got back on the phone asking for my name. And then she was snappy and short while I was trying to book my appointment. I was referred by a friend and I assume she was talking about this location since it has 5 stars. Definitely not this location!! Even when I got a cleaning, I ended up with water on my shirt. And felt like the job was sloppy. I also had issues with my billing. My insurance covered x-rays but when I was getting my cleaning they said it wasn't but discounted the x-rays which I appreciated. But I definitely didn't appreciate the attitude over the phone trying to give this place a second chance.
