I tried Modern Dental care several months ago to get a teeth cleaning. They charged me significantly more than my regular dentist for teeth cleaning because they said I needed the additional services. I agreed to pay it since I was already there.
While the hygienist did a good job, I was really put off with the "hard sell" to go with their invisalign system at a cost of thousands of dollars.
Now I get a notice in the mail about a "no show" fee. I don't recall making any appointment with them and I certainly never confirmed any such appointments. I guess they just charge you $55 whether there is a confirmed appt or not. I'm assuming they just schedule you in automatically or something. Needless to say I wont be using this company again and I would dissuade any one else from considering them as well.
I really feel like this company only suggests things to try to get money out of you. After receiving this ridiculous no show fee, now I'm convinced it's not a dentist who cares about you. Just your money.

Dr Friedman and his staff are very knowledgable and excellent. Waiting time is good, it almost does not exist. I have referred the office to my co-workers and friends. There are no hidden costs, unlike the other offices that I have visited. Visit the office and experience what good service is all about.

Went to dentist for my bi-yearly checkup. This place diagnosed me with a Periodontal (Gum) Disease two years ago. I already did couple of deep cleanings this year alone. Last deep cleaning took maybe 10 minutes. A regular cleaning should take longer...
I asked for a regular cleaning which is covered by my insurance. They told me they have to do the check-up before they can answer my request of a regular cleaning.
They took x-rays and regular pictures as usual. Than doctor came in ( unfortunately Dr. Freeman wasn't available), measured pocket at one place, I even heard him dictate "favorable prognosis", and the number two. He didn't check for depth for pockets at all my teeth. He told me that a regular cleaning would not include the cleaning of my roots. I told him I understood that and wanted to take advantage of my regular cleaning that is covered by my insurance. He told me he will ask the hygienist if she is willing to do a regular cleaning. Hygienist came and she plainly refused do a regular cleaning. She told me " that wouldn't do you any good".
Once this dental office diagnose you with Periodontal (Gum) Disease they will never let you get a regular cleaning, even when symptoms are gone. This way they can charge both the insurance and patient a lot more and be more profitable. They don't care that I brush, floss daily and even use a water flosser. Hygienist just wanted more money. You have been warned. Needless to say I will never go back to this place. Too bad because I liked Dr Freeman, but the hygienists are horrible, and they are the ones that actually work on me. They used to have a good hygienist, but she moved away. I will move on as well.

Please file a Better Business Bureau complaint if you have one!!! Around $1000 for bone grafting, I have a new dentist it’s $245!!! A crown I had put in chipped within a few months. I went in to have an extraction done and told the Endo there that the oral surgeon I went to saw an infection and had let me know that he believed it would have to be pulled. The Endo at LVMD said he wouldn’t have sent you here if it couldn’t be fixed. They retreated it and around $1000 later it didn’t help and I had another dentist pull it. Normally this would be tolerable except the fact I told them flat out I wanted it pulled and why. They said they would review it and put payments on hold and are now charging me anyways. In my opinion a horrible place to go. Will be filing an insurance complaint.
