After reading all the recent reviews, I have to say my experience at Sparks Gentle Dental was a good one. Dr Cardenas is nice and the staff is accommodating. My co-worker saw dr Cressman a few times and said he did a good job. Of course the dentist was running around very busy!! I wouldn’t want to go to a dentist or hair salon or restaurant that wasn’t busy!! Haha right?? I guess in these days of secret accounts and cyber-bullying any pissed off patient or ex-employee can write a horrible review. Heck yeah I wish my insurance paid for more stuff. Im overworked and understaffed at my job too, HELLO?! The smart person reading these reviews will be able to know fact from the bullsheez. I’m too busy with life stuff to write trashy reviews LOLS now go brush!!!!

What can I tell you about Gental Dental? I turned 55 years old today and I have had dental problems for the last 40 years.
Today my life has changed thanks to Jesse Cardenas, DDS (Dentist McDreamy).
My experience at Gentle Dental follows:
One year ago, at a very large competing dental practice in north Nevada, I had all my teeth extracted and a full upper and lower plate placed. This competing practice gave me ill fitting dentures and left roots still inside my gums. I could not eat without removing my lower plate. Multiple visits over the past year to the other dental practice yielded no relief.
Jesse Cardenas, DDS at Gentle Dental took his time and expertise to not only remove the roots left behind, but made me a full set of NEW dentures that brought back not only my smile but my self confidence. A years inability to eat anything beyond mush has vanished. Dr. Cardenas accomplished in 3 short visits what the competing large dental practice could not get right in over a years time!
The dental staff is very helpful, courteous, fun, and quickly take your anxiety level down well below anything I ever experienced at any dental office in my lifetime.
If you need ANY dental work done this is the place to go!! Fantastic Job!!! I hope your practice exceeds your greatest expectations! I have no doubt that it will!

For my first experience, it wasn’t great. What was supposed to be just a regular cleaning took two hours. The lady spent about 45 minutes doing x-rays. Shoving stuff in an out of my mouth and practically choking me. Then, I was told I had to have an old cavity redone and the lady at the desk said “oh well the great part is it’s only $25 to have a cavity filled.” But after I had it filled and paid, it was $75. Also, they told me that I would eventually need to get my wisdom teeth pulled but it was nothing I needed to do immediately. When I asked the lady about insurance and pricing she told me how much it was going to be. And I let her know that financially I couldn’t afford it at the time. So she kept pressuring me telling me “oh well the guy who does it is only here once a month,” and “I don’t know how long he’ll accept your insurance.” So she went ahead and scheduled me an appointment for a couple weeks later anyways! Not only that, but she did not explain anything to me. She didn’t tell me what to expect during the procedure or anything. I’m not impressed and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I highly recommend Gentle Dental for their excellent service, transparency and kind staff. I had several procedures done and they were very understanding and helped calm my anxiety and we’re truly gentle.

I recently came in for some dental work with concerns. I mean who LOVES going to the dentist??
Everyone was so pleasant. From the receptionist, to the assistants, to the Insurance ladies, to the Drs!!! The procedures that were done: bridge work, cavities filled, a crown, were done with the LEAST amount of pain and complications. The eclectic music playing had me singing the entire time!!!!!
I am NOT one to boast about going to the dentist.,But I MUST say, this location and company, are very recommendable. They really speak to their name, "Gentle Dental"! Thanks Dr. Cardenas, for the care you have taken!!!!

The staff is so sweet to me every time I visit here. They do a great job answering all my questions, and making me feel very comfortable for any work I need to have done. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else for my dental needs. I would highly recommend them if you're looking for a local dentist. Thanks, Gentle Dental!! :)

Similar experiences to everyone else with a low rating. Dr. Cressman paid little attention to me bouncing from patient to patient with little care.
After 10 minutes of chatting with his assistant he spent 2 minutes explaining what I needed done.
Like other patients I had the same experience with Lola. Extremely rude and impatient. She must use the, "Dr. Cressman will be gone for a month" line all the time to pressure patients into paying a ridiculous amount for there services. She didn't care one bit about my situation after explaining I couldn't afford it.
I don't know who there getting to write these bogus 5 star reviews. I would give 0 stars if I could

If I could give a zero star review I would. I see that every other time a person has left a single star review a response was made saying, "We have search out patient files extensively and cannot find you as a patient of record." So, I hope they can find my file as I was just there this morning at 8AM 1/31/2018. I called and emailed many practices with the specific request that we could have both our exam, as required and, more important to us, a cleaning. I was contacted back from my email inquiry and decided to make appointments because the office was both close to home and they said that unless there was something major wrong with our exams we could have cleanings on the same day. Once we got there and after we had our ex-rays taken we were told that the call center that handles their scheduling made a promise that they could not keep as their hygienist was just too busy. We informed the office that it seemed like a scam telling patients to sure come in we can do exams and cleanings on the same day then once they are there and have already had ex-rays taken they are told oh, sorry we can't you'll have to come back another day a month later. Additionally, this office is very dirty. There were spider webs in the windows, hair on the floor under the exam chairs, and crumbs on the counter tops. We had the first appointments of the day and their garbage in the exam rooms were near full. How is it that the garbage is not taken out and there are crumbs on counter tops in a dental office?? Do not go here unless you would like a third world country experience!

Wow! I just called since I cracked a tooth. I asked if they accept hometown health. The lady said hometown health is medical. I told her it is also my dental and I confirmed it with hometown health. She told me there should be another name on back of my card and I listed the company name and the "submit claims to" company and she continued to say it is medical. I explained I am looking right at my card that says: medical/dental and proceeded to say my member id and then somehow we just happened to get disconnected.
I guarantee my family will not be going there and I will do my best to share my experience with others since I couldn't even get past the simple part of verifying they accept my insurance. Either hometown health is listed with them as a provider or it isn't. Really shouldn't be complicated.
