Gentle Dental Sparks

Like most people, I am not a fan of dental visits and I certainly wouldn't take my time to write a review of one...except this time. I needed to have a crown to replace a chipped molar. Dr. Cardenas and the team and Gentle Dental Sparks were absolutely fantastic. It was the first time I have ever laughed in a dentist's office. The care was the best I have ever had and, aside from that first needle prick, it was completely painless. The music playing over the speakers during my procedure was a great mix and had me tapping my feet while Dr. Cardenas was drilling away. I am actually looking forward to my next appointment.

Everyone at Gentle Dental is super kind, considerate, and personable. They made me feel welcomed and took excellent care of my teeth!

Char has actually made me a loyal patient. (10+years) I have been going to Gentle Dental because of her customer service & friendliness.

I walked in with a toothache and no appt. The staff was kind, friendly, and professional. In no time I had x-rays, an exam, a root canal, and a temp cap in place. Dr. Cordova was gentle and kept me comfortable the entire time. I walked out pain free and impressed by a new high standard of compassionate, professional dental care. If you need dental care, I highly recommend Gentle Dental's Wingfield Hills office.

This is an amendment/replacement/update of my previous review. Dr. Cordova has gone over and above to correct and make amends for office issues that occurred prior to his arrival at this location. He has personally called me to apologize for the problems we had. He even took his personal time to investigate and corrected an issue the office staff should have handled. It is because of Dr. Cordova that we decided to give Gentle Dental a second chance.
My husband has seen Dr. Cordova twice now and is extremely happy with the work done. He found Dr. Cordova to be both personable and professional. My husband was impressed with him taking the time to explain what was needed going forward and why. I will be seeing Dr. Cordova myself when I require dental care.
Both Melissa and Charlene have apologized for the previous issues and how they were handled (the other staff is gone). I was assured that adjustments in training would be made to avoid these issues in the future. The previous issues included communication regarding insurance and out-of-pocket costs – office staff issues that should not reflect upon Dr. Cordova.

UPDATE: Funny that this office replies that they cannot find me in there patient files and I should call so they can verify that I'm a patient...Why would I call an office that I had a terrible experience at?? I never leave reviews let alone a negative one. Guess that's their answer for every negative review lol. No worries, I'll just make sure to let everyone I know to avoid this office... If your looking for a caring compassionate dentist, try Dr. McMullen. I was referred to his office from a friend after this terrible experience I had with this office

Decided to try this office after reading all the great reviews. This was the WORST dental experience I've ever had. Dr. Cressman seemed more interested in gossiping with his staff then doing his actual job. After a brief explanation of what needed to be done, Lola very rudely explained what I needed to pay to have the work done. After explaining to her that I couldn't afford to pay $537 that day she then asked if I could, "call somebody".... For what?? And who? The money fairy?? After telling her I wouldn't be able to pay that much she then asked me to apply for a credit card to pay the balance! After I told her I wouldn't be able to pay (for the 3rd time) she explained that Dr. Cressman would be out for the next month and if I need the work done I'd have to wait.
If your looking for a dentist that cares about what they do along with an office and staff that's informative and explains your choices financially... This office isn't the one. Do your yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Dr. Cardenas is wonderful and Gentle. He tells you what he is doing during the process. It feels like he really cares when you are there. I don't mind going to the dentist anymore. Thank you Gentle Dental for your great customer service!

For the first time in 8years I found a place that is the best dentist facility around!!! They were the best price that I have ever found and they make me feel so comfortable. I look forward to my appointments, and who can say that about a dentist office!! Everyone must try this place at least once!! :)!!

my daughter went in for a cleaning last week. the dental hygienist was in a bad mood. she ended up jabbing her in a main vein on the back of her mouth. she now has a hematoma and can't open her mouth. who would think that such a simple procedure would damage her so bad. now my daughter damaged.

This review is a rather personal one for me also i never leave reviews so this is a big deal for me.
Plain and simple i hate going to the dentist as i dont have great teeth and am mostly embarassed by my overall outlook on my mouth, in most cases what ever dentist i see treats me like a stupid child and scolds to where i feel anxious and depressed, this all changed at Gentle Dental i could tell from the get go this is where i needed to be! They were so passionate and caring i almost forgot i was at the dentist! Its nice be able to go somewhere and feel at ease, please do yourself a favor and try them out they have an in house savings plan, have better prices than most and make you feel at home. Overall i feel like you could have the worst decaying, missing half your teeth and stink like garbage and they would still treat you like an individual and not an inferior being. Thank you Gentle Dental! To the rest of you too afraid to see a dentis you really need to check this place out.
