I had called first and got the pricing for the fix I needed (broke front vernier) and I thought the price was a fairly good deal and went in, The staff booked me in and took x rays and had other hygienists checking on my gums and poking around then I mentioned I had called and only needed my missing front crown fixed with a temp and to order a new one....once in the "closing" room everything changed, the prices for what I needed went from 900.00 to over 1600.00 and that is not all, now they included all the other things that they said I really needed and gave me a bill for $5,800.00 and yes they wanted me to pay in full and nothing had been done yet, I left and let them know I wasted 2 hours of my time and theirs.. they are serious about the upgrade upgrade upgrade. I would not recommend them in any way, it felt like buying a used car. Stay away from this national dental corporation and look for a locally owned dental office. the closing agent asked me not to review her as she had nothing to do with all the add on stuff and inflated pricing. I felt sorry for her so I wont

9-5-2020. I was a new patient trying to find a dentist in this area. Which is Santa Fe, NM. I went in only to get a filling fixed. I already knew I had some other issues I could not afford at this time. The dentist (Derek Preble)basically refused to fix the filling insisting it needed a crown at this time(the much more costly for the patient answer) even though he also basically said it could be done just that he could not guarantee how long it would last. They also had me do full ex-rays though I came in only for that one tooth which means now they might not be free through my insurance somewhere else. Also the lady who went over the costs of everything that needed to he done was pushy and rude and not only argued with me not just at the office but also on the phone (also insisting they would have to have 60% of the money down before I could even make an appointment which I tried to do to have the crown done which is what they insisted I had to have done on the tooth-in 30 years of dental visits that has never been the case of money down) they also refused to prescribe me meds/pill antibiotics as most dentists do for the infection they said I have. They also kept pushing for me to do the other work I needed which included running my credit they claimed it was a sift credit check which is not true I have gone through it before plus the interest rates are ridiculous in most of those options and again I've gone through that before. So now I'm trying to decide if I'm going to them or somewhere else. The dentist and the lady were both pretty pushy. I admit I was already nervous when I came in I don't do well at dentists as it is. I prefer to go elsewhere, I have had a lot of dental work over the years and I find that they seem to all mostly be about money and how much they can get than the actual custmer/person themselves and since Covid these dental offices seem to be more about money than ever before. When I was younger I loved my dentist because of the customer service and personal care given. That seems to be gone with dentists of the now. Also since this time I was able to have the work done I needed that they claimed they could or would not do without the expensive procedures.

They make you have 2 appointments for a cleaning/new patient exam, when other places it would have been 1 appointment. After my x-rays and measurements were taken, they left me in the chair for about 30 minutes before coming back to get me to check out and schedule my cleaning, which only took a couple of minutes. They were apparently busy because they're short staffed on Saturdays, and I know they were helping people who arrived after me while I was waiting to leave. They should have gotten me out a lot sooner than they did. Very poor customer service and not very good excuses as to why.

My mother had a ton of work that needed to get done and she went in for financing and they started her work that same day and the doctor along with the dentist assistants explained everything in detail to her and made her feel very comfortable almost as if she was part of the family there.Thank you all the Aspen Team for this great care you have given my mother "Lucia Veleta Garcia" she has already referred several people to your office for dental work. We will continue to put the word out for this awesome Dental office. Thanks, Sandra

Everyone was very professional and helpful. From the receptionist being so patient when we didn't bring the right insurance information. To the dental assistant Annah, who made my wife feel at ease by communicating in Spanish. And Dr. Dalwai being very gentle with the exam while my wife was in pain. The Hygienist Kristen was very helpful and let us know exactly what my wife needs to do to get her teeth back on track. The office Manager, Ashton helped understand our payment options and explained everything in detail. The team at Aspen Dental went above and beyond to make us fell at home and I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist.
Thank you Aspen Dental Santa Fe, New Mexico

I was able to get an appointment quickly. When I arrived, the staff was friendly and helpful. My dentist was fantastic. He did a thorough exam but was gentle. Moreover, he addressed my overall health as a whole person, not just my current dental issues.

as someone who generally dislikes going to the dentist, I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful the staff was. Myra got me in the day I called. I've never had so many x-rays taken of my teeth but Annah was super fast. Dr. Prebel and Kristin Jenkins both examined my teeth and we're extremely helpful. They also treated me like a friend which was soothing for my dentist fearing nerves. Kristin ended up having time to do a deep clean on me the same day and I was never uncomfortable and experienced no pains. And I really appreciated Myra and Alex who helped me with the financial aspect of my visit. All in all, nice facilities and really friendly staff. Im actually looking forward to another cleaning this time around.
