Dr. Michaelsen suggested I get a second set of braces to help my TMJ and frequent headaches. Desperate for relief I agreed, and spent 6k on braces. Now 3 years later I'm still struggling with TMJ and headaches.
I've visited two more orthodontists in the last year and both agree that way more work is needed to adjust my high and narrow palate, myofunctional therapy for my tongue, and another set of braces afterwards.
I realize now that I should have been visiting someone with specialized training and I should have done more research. I am so frustrated that I trusted Dr. Michaelsen, but I believed him when he said he could help.

Don't go here unless you want to get scammed. My brother as well as I and my wife on separate occasions went in for a simple cleaning and ended up being told we needed a deep cleaning due to gum deterioration costing us over 1,000 dollars. We decided to go to another dentist and was examined and was told we were not in need of this cleaning and even if we did it would cost 100 to 200 dollars at most. We felt something wasn't right and it looked like our suspicions were true. My new dentist also requested my X-rays to be transferred over from them and couldn't use them due to how they were taken. So, I had to get more x-rays done. Stay away from this place as they are doing procedures that are not needed and charging outrageously for them. No, I do not want to deal any further with this company.

I moved from the cherokee dental to DA and they found a bunch more stuff that was needing work. Tiffinay and maria were very nice and helpfull making sure i had everything i needed. And doctor Michaelsen was very thorough making sure i understood what was going on and what was needing done.

I have been going to the dentist since about 4yrs old back late 50's. Have very bad experiences with dentists. A year agoI was browsing for a dentist at was open on Saturday and found Dental Art made an appointment went in a few days later everyone was sooooo nice and attentive. Dr. Mattherson and his dental assistants was super nice, never had a good experience with dental work until I came to Dental Art.Highly recommended them.When I go in they greet me using my name. I love everyone in that office.

It had been longer than I'd like to admit since I had been to a dental office and I was very nervous because I knew I had a lot to work on. The staff here are all amazing! I've never been treated as nicely as I was here and I didn't feel judged for all the work I need done. They did an excellent job explaining what they were doing and what needed done. It felt easy to make an action plan together that will get my oral health back on track. I would 100% recommend this location to anyone I know needing dental work and I plan to continue coming here for all my dental needs.

Kind, friendly, considerate and each one is very good at what they do. I started with them several years ago when I still lived in Catoosa and I needed a new dentist. Last year I moved to another state but when it is time for my next appointment I travel back here. Finding a good dentist that you can like and trust everyone in the office is not always easy.
Today I arrived a little early and was greeted with smiles and kindness which is very nice in a dentist officer or any doctors office. I was in and out in an hour and all smiles tonight at my grandsons high school graduation.
