Nice, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Their practice is clean and efficient. They try hard to make you feel comfortable, informed and educated on the best ways to take care of your teeth and/or provide solutions for any dental issues you may have.

During a pandemic who do you want to be clean and professional? RIGHT! Your dental office! This is what you will get out of Mikeala and Dr. Humphries when coming to this office. They are personal, professional and always make you feel comfortable. I never have to question their cleanliness because I see them take all precautions in front of me from one room to another. My teeth are always clean and I am confident when I leave my appointment that I have gotten the best care!

Tennessee Family Dental provided a very enjoyable experience. From the receptionist to Dr. O'Neill, everyone was personable and pleasant. I left there feeling like I had made several new friends, and I had a better understanding of my dental health. I hadn't been to the dentist in a long long time (so long I was embarrassed). I justified it by not having a decent recommendation for a dentist in Nashville, all the while knowing I really needed to go get my cleaning & checkup.
My S.O. had a serious (expensive, immediate) problem and after he reported a positive experience with Tennessee Family Dental, I made my appointment right then and there. I made the appointment online (so I wouldn't chicken out about calling), they called me back with in 10 minutes, and I had an appointment 4 days later.
Everyone was friendly and thorough. Laura (hygienist) took x-rays & did my cleaning. She didn't even give me a guilt trip for taking so long to get to a dentist! I needed one small filling and they had room to fit me in right then, so I went ahead with it. Dr. Sherrill was speedy and the process of the filling was completely painless. They scheduled my next cleaning appointment for me right then & there.
The bottom line: Everyone at Tennessee Family Dental was friendly, and I walked out feeling like I had top-notch medical care. The whole process from requesting the appointment to paying my bill (they take most major dental insurance) was super easy. If you are like me, and have been procrastinating, just send them an email & get the ball rolling.

Such an excellent place. It had been a few years since my last visit to my previous dentist simply because I'm terrified of going. Missy (the hygienist) and Dr. Manny did everything they could to put me at ease. I actually don't dread my follow up visit in a week! Now I see why my wife loves them.

They seen me very quick even during the snow and ice & explained everything very good. I'm still waiting on the permanent crowns but I'm sure they will look great. Dr Humphreys was wonderful and I would recommend anyone to go see her.

I recently moved to Nashville and unexpectedly needed dental care. I called every office in the Nashville area to no avail. A friend recommended Dr. Thommason's office. They graciously squeezed me in and were helpful and attentive. The staff were courteous and am glad to now be a patient of the Tennessee Family Dental Clinic. :)

First time here and I thought it was great! Everything went smooth and all the staff there is really friendly! Mikaela was my hygienist and she was so sweet and did such a great job at making me feel comfortable & explaining everything she was doing!

It was my first visit here as I was trying out dentists since moving into a new area. I was only coming in for a routine cleaning as it had been about 10 months since my last one (procrastinating on finding a new dentist). The staff here was so friendly and pleasant and welcomed me. The only issue I had was I wish the cleaning had been a little longer. It seemed to be only about 25 minutes long. I'm not sure if that's a TRICARE mandated thing or not, but I don't feel that the cleaning was as thorough as some I have had in the past. That's only a personal preference though, as I like a really deep cleaning on my gums and teeth. Other than that- everything was great!

On New Years day, I had gone trail running and bit it - HARD. I badly chipped (broke?) my two front teeth. My regular dentist did not open until the following day, and TN Family Dental (while being one of the only places open the day after NY on a Saturday) graciously squeezed me in and saved the day. The tech I saw was sweet and gentle, and Jenny was a complete lifesaver. I felt comfortable and at ease immediately, and she fixed me right up. You couldn't tell that I even had an accident. It was even her day off but she came into the office to see if they needed help -- it was meant to be! Sincerely thankful they were able to take care of me, despite not being a regular patient. Thank you!
