Dr. Avendanio is the best dentist I've ever been to! I'd been nervous about dental work after a few negative experiences but going to see him was a completely new and refreshing experience. I recommend him specifically for people who get nervous about going to the dentist. He's very kind and thorough and thoughtful. I can happily say now that he's my dentist, I'm not nervous about going to the dentist again! 10/10 recommend.

Dr. Patel was gentle, sensitive, and did an excellent job. I’ve rarely had a root canal that went so quickly and so painlessly. His dental assistants are just just as kind, observant, sensitive and talented.

It had been a few years since my last cleaning so I was a little bit anxious going in, but Dr. Bernard Avendanio assured me we could get my teeth back in shape. His staff was very professional and everyone was so nice. Anne was my hygienist and she was absolutely amazing! She made me feel very comfortable, was very thorough and she made the whole process a breeze.

Best dentist experience I’ve ever had. They don’t rely on mysticism to justify what they do like so many others; instead they provided very clear, easy to follow explanations backed by data that addressed all of my questions and concerns, and did a more thorough cleaning and evaluation than I’ve ever had before. Delightful staff too, every one of them. I’m actually looking forward to returning for regular cleanings here.

I went to another dentist in the area for my routine cleaning, he suggested that I get some old fillings replaced with white and put a crown on a larger filling. I took his recommendation and have had pain for over a year, after going back multiple times… after some research, I found Dr Patel on google. Let me tell you the entire staff is welcoming, professional and caring. When I called they worked quickly to get me into an appt that would work for my schedule. When I arrived for the appt I didn’t wait long, they are very efficient. Dr Patel and his team were thorough with my exam, they listened to my concerns, he did some grinding on my crown that day and had me come back within the week to replace a filling. For the first time in a year my mouth pain is gone! Dr Patel is genuine, caring, and I can’t thank him enough.

I was recommended this dentist by my friend due to their priority of care to patients. For the past 4 years, I have had difficulty finding a dentist that actually cares about a patients sensitivity to cleanings and fillings. My first appointment went fantastic and I can't wait to come back! This dentist is all about getting you in and out as fast as (reasonably) possible with as little pain as possible. Would recommend everyone to at least give this dentist a try once to compare to their other dentists.

New to the area, had concerns about finding a new clinic due to anxiety from my dental history. All staff was incredibly kind and understanding of my background. Dr. Patel walked me through what he was seeing for my dental exam and the reasons for treatment. I can’t remember her name, but the hygienist showed exceptional care and was open to my questions about how to better my oral health. They handled a more unique case really well and at no point did I feel pressured. Highly recommend!

Update 3: We moved to Allen and my neighborhood dentist jammed his fingers around my mouth as if I was a horse and sprayed air all over my teeth to see if it would hurt. Nope. I’m back to Dr. Avandanio even if I have to drive an hour in traffic. Lesson learned again. 9 years a customer.
Update 2: I chipped my crown again at 39 weeks pregnant on Mary’s Gone Cracker. Ugh! They got me in and patched it up quickly and painlessly before baby’s arrival. Dr. A is the best! He is an ethical good person. We have moved out of Dallas but I will probably continue to drive to Dallas because they are that awesome.
Update: I chipped my 3 year old crown and they got me right in, made a repair, and 30 minutes later I was on my way. Excellent care and service.
Dr. Avandanio is the best. He’s very conservative in his treatment plan and always explains things well. Going to the dentist sucks but it’s actually quite pleasant here. They really take good care of you.
