Dr.Thomas n Karen was the best team I have ever come across. They were friendly and great at what they do. They made my visit feel like I was part of the Light Dental family.

Light Dental Studios was able to get me in quickly after I forgot to schedule my last appointment, oops! When I arrived, I was greeted by name and wasn't seated even 3 minutes before they called me back. Kaysha, my assistant, was extremely careful and attentive as she prepped me for the dentist. Dr. Smolke jumped right into my cleaning, thoroughly explaining along the way. I could tell he was extremely knowledgeable! Finally, on the way out Emma at the front made scheduling my next appointment easy peasy. See you in 6 months LDS!

I’ve been fighting TMJ for many years and finally decided I need to do something about it. Finding a TMJ specialist was much harder than I thought - many advertise those services, but after calling around I found that many include TMJ as a side to their regular dental service. Dr. Jaing was fabulous. She was friendly, but professional - made me feel at ease. She was able to do a head CT Scan right in the office and got immediate results that we discussed. I received 4 different solutions that can be used by themselves or as a compliment to each other. I loved that she had options, but didn’t push me in to making a decision right then.

And, since this was my first appointment with Light Dental Studios, Kaysha (Dental Assistant) was my first impression of the business. She represented them proudly, greeted me quickly, answered questions and did the initial intake with TMJ specific questions. Dr. Jaing and Kaysha are a really a great pair and I’ll definitely be back.

Dr Udod & Haily were the best taking care of my dental emergency. They were compassionate & kept me informed of each step.

I haven’t been to the dentist in over a decade because I hate going to the dentist. I was very pleased with my overall experience here. Dr. Smolke and his assistant Kaysha were excellent.

I have an extreme dental anxiety/phobia and was in alot of pain from an abcess. Aurora and Dr. Hyder did an amazing job of keeping me calm and comfortable. They told me prior to the procedure after the initial exam how much it would cost. The procedure was quickly done once the affected area was numbed.
I will be returning for more dental work in the future. Thank you so much Dr. Hyder and Aurora for helping me.

I have EXTREME dental anxiety. Today I had a extraction from Dr. Smolke, I never thought I could feel so comfortable with a dentist but he was quick efficient explained every step of the way and was knowledgeable. Sienna was his assistant and I felt today after several visits to different offices that I was in good hands with good people who wanted the best for me. 10/10 would reccomend this office and this dentist. And I would normally never reccomend the dentist lol.

I have worked for almost 40 years as a Dental Hygienist having been board certified in Michigan and Washington State, I have worked for many dentists in this career which I have enjoyed. I know good dentistry when I see it! I have been a patient at Light Dental Studios for 25 years. I have received the utmost wonderful care. I love the dental hygienists there and I always look forward to having my teeth cleaned. Recently, I needed a complicated new bridge, which also included my first dental implant. I was nervous about getting my first implant. The Periodontist was wonderful as he explained everything to me, which finally put me at ease. Looking back, it was nothing to worry about. Since my new bridge was a complicated case, three doctors came together as a team to decide on the best approach. I always felt I was in the best hands with their expertise! I feel so welcome every time I step in to this office where the staff is always cheerful.

Going to the dentist can be a viewed as a scary or uncomfortable experience. However, as I have recently experienced; this is not always the case! My experience at Light Dental Studios in Puyallup has shown me that. I needed to a few visits to get my dental health back on track, and each trip to Light Dental Studios was positive from start to finish. The front office staff is not only professional, but very friendly and super helpful.

I had the good fortune of working with Dr. Judy, Dr. Gharpure and their Dental Assistants Jen E & Arlene. The doctors we both incredible and masters of their craft. They both took the time to answer all my questions (I ask a lot of questions) and were both amazing every step of the way. A major contributing factor to the overall experience were their assistants: Jen E & Arlene! Both of them were calming forces during downtime, preparation, and conclusion of each visit. Easy to talk to, helpful with preparing for the next appointment, and super patient when it came to my many questions. A big THANK YOU to each an every person I interacted with at Light Dental Studios! My family and I will be patients for years to come.
