Aspen Dental is so much more than a dental office. In my case I have found a permanent dental home. I almost didn't come into the building because I was embarrassed about my smile but I am so glad I did. Liz, Rhonda, Vanessa, and Dr. Ransome were so kind to me. They made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. I have quite a bit of work that needs done but after my appointment this morning I can't imagine going anywhere else. So glad I tried Aspen Dental!

All staff were very friendly and helpful. Each staff member I had contact with took their time explaining procedures & answering all my questions. I never felt like I was being rushed. I liked the atmosphere & especially liked having the "green room" to wait in when waiting between procedures instead of being sent back to the waiting room where you first go in to register. Glad I decided to go there for my dental needs.

If i could rate a zero I would. I will never do business with Aspen dental again. I went in for my yearly check up. As a new patient. I knew they were going to take x-rays and do the general cleaning. Which is covered by my insurance.

However after getting the x-rays, checking my gums, checking my bite, and checking for cavities I did not receive a cleaning. I was told that I had gingervitus and they would schedule a follow up appointment for a deep cleaning. Which I agreed to due to not receiving my cleaning.

Then I checked out. I had to pay $380 for the visit. I agreed to the oral cancer screening which cost $30. I paid $23 deductible. The other services should have been covered. I was told that I was charged a fee to hold the next appointment. When I questioned the fee to hold the next appointment I was told it was because a lot of people canceled their follow up appointment. I completely missed the fact that I had paid in advance for services I did not receive. I know my fault.

The lady who was finalizing my bill is an extremely fast talker. She did not answer a direct question. Instead she gave a lengthy explanation. Which I found to be very overwhelming and confusing. So confusing that I didn't know which questions to ask. I didn't know to ask for a detailed billing before I left.

I then called my insurance company who confirmed the Dentist is in network. They confirmed that as a new patient everything should have been covered. They stated I should not have been charged for the next visit or a fee to hold that appointment.

Today I canceled my appointment. I asked for a detailed explanation of the bill to be sent to me. I was told that it will be submitted to my insurance company. I was told that she had to get confirmation to refund the $380 credit , minus deductible and cancer screening, which is on my account. So now I wait.

At first I thought they were very thorough. Hindsight they overcharge. They are confusing so you don't know what you are being charged for. And they shouldn't charge for services you haven't received.

I do not recommend Aspen Dental.

The staff are extremely friendly, polite and always wearing a smile.. They always do their best to accommodate your needs.. I had an extraction and didn’t feel a thing! Quick and painless.

The worst experience I've ever had with a dentist office. Rude staff, but the dentist and hygienist were nice and helpful. Also, I don't like their philosophy-- they require you choose their expensive route of care or they won't treat you. There's just no need for that.

Went for my consultation visit and was very pleased. Every member of the staff I encountered was so pleasant and friendly. All of my questions, concerns, and options were discussed and answered thoroughly. I am very happy with my first visit

I had a very extensive wait. While waiting I heard the hygenist explain to the patient in the next room that she had gum disease. I was handed an iPad and had to watch an infomercial for Invisalign in which gum disease was explained. When the hygenist examined me I wasn't surprised that I too have gum disease and require the same costly treatments as the patient in the other room. I find it unbelievable that the amount of work required maxed out my insurance to the penny. I find it odd that someone gives you an estimate, then presents financing options for needed work. My end of treatment without insurance was quoted as over $11000 and my portion would be over $6000. I felt that the entire experience was an upsale and a scam. I scheduled an appointment with a legitimate dental practice and suggest that you do the same.

If I could give a lesser rating I would. This is absolutely the worst dental office I have ever been to. They charge for services they advertise as free their prices are outrageous and their work is horrible a 5 year old could do better dental work. Also some of the girls who work there are very unprofessional. I will never go back and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Would never recommend anyone to go to the Aspen Dental in Bridgeport WV!
Worst experience and treatment I have ever received!
The dentures( just upper) they made for me and this includes the immediate and the permanent (which I returned) were both twisted/warped (and the permanent ones also had the teeth on the right side set in deeper than the left side) so they don fit in the roof of my mouth correctly so I'm constantly using glue every time I eat just to keep them in!
