Cortaro Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics

Most unprofessional place I've ever been to. I showed up to my 3:00 appointment at 2:45 and was informed that I would be checked in and that I could take a seat.

At 3:15 they called my cellphone even though I was the only person in the waiting room and all 5 office clerks could see me. No apology of any kind. I even overhead them call another patient who had a 4:00 appointment because they said they were ahead of schedule and wanted to see if they'd come in early.

I walked out 5 minutes later and will never go back.

I called ahead and asked for a quote on a cleaning and was quoted 450 dollars which I thought was a little pricey but I decided to go anyway. I get there and they say it's 3000 dollars for a cleaning and the dentist says we don't do quotes over the phone but the problem is they did quote me a price to get me in there. Then I'm told if I pay 500 dollars to join some plan they have I could cut the price in half. When the old dentists owned this place it was a great practice but I would avoid this place at all costs go online and do your research before you go to the dentist and always get around 5 quotes from different dentists before you get any precudure done as the prices can vary drastically from one dentist to the next.

Ever since I started coming here, it has always been an awesome experience. Front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My last appointment was with Melissa Tucker and she was extra amazing. She took time to answer my questions, was extremely knowledgeable and very straightforward and honest. I am not a fan of going to the dentist but I can definitely say Cortaro Smiles staff has made going to the dentist a much more pleasant experience!

My Bf and I went here only to utilize the free X-rays, but they didn’t even answer our questions just told me I need to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled asap. Cause it would cause problems if I didn’t do so, and on top of all that they wanted over 2,000 of what money!!!!! So I went to another dentist that told me the complete opposite, and I don’t have to rush to get them out, which is a relief and I can actually begin saving $$$ up to get the teeth removed. If you know what’s good for you and you don’t want to wage your time and hard earned money don’t go here. It should be called Cortaro Frowns😟

I would give this place 0 stars if they allowed me. Came in for a cleaning and to check a filling that I felt came out. Spent 7 hours there! Was told I need a deep cleaning which insurance does not cover and they would not do a basic cleaning. Then I was told my fillinf was in tact but my tooth cracked and needed a crown. They shaved down half my tooth and I woke up the following morning in even more pain. I went back and they told me that my crack must have cracked all the way down to root. I was advised to see a specialist. Went to get a root canal and the specialist said there was no sign of a crack at the root and he believed there never was a crack but my root was damaged. Once the procedure was done, I felt instant relief. The root canal cost me $250 at time of visit, then I received another bill for $1,200 for the canal. On top of that, Cortaro Smiles charged me $1,200 for a deep cleaning and damaging my tooth basically on purpose.

Additionally, my daughter was scheduled for a filling on a cavity she had with Every Kids Dentist prior to this mess happening. Took time off of work (since I am a single mom) get to the office and they are closed!! Went next door explained what happened and they had a man dentist do the filling and he was rough and rude. Now my daughter has a fear of dentist!

You are frauds and should be investigated for the "work" you do! Malpractice if anything!! I will never recommend anyone go here!

I have been to a few different dental offices and have never experienced such a welcoming staff. From the front office to the hygienist and the dentist in the back was filled with caring uplifting staff. They explained everything in a way I could understand and took my finances in consideration. They had a discount plan and helped me figure out how to make things work. The staff was knowledgeable and created a fun atmosphere. I am switching my whole family here and would highly recommend Cortaro Smiles

I have been coming here for years. Melissa is my hygienist and is so very Amazing. She is now joined by Jimmy and this team is outstanding. They are not only personable but very caring and skilled in what they do. I can honestly say I am not a huge fan of the dentist but a team like this makes my 6mo cleanings a breeze... and a pleasure. Many blessing to such great people!!!! Highly recommend cortaro smiles!

Scheduled this appointment with a 2.5 hour gap before my next client. Waited for 45 minutes only to be told they’re “cleaning a room” but all the assistants are busy right now. Who knows how much longer I would have waited if I didn’t leave. Front office ladies are rude and not welcoming. I’d go somewhere else.

I have only been going to Cortaro Smiles for a few weeks now and I have had nothing, but great experiences. My initial x-rays and assessment were quick and the staff were very friendly and listened to my needs. I was interested in getting veneers, but the prices I had seen were way too expensive. Price was not an issue for me with Cortaro Smiles. The doctor plans, makes, and installs the veneers in the office in 1 session at a very reasonable price. I did spend an entire day at the dentist, but it was well worth it because the doctor took his time to ensure that the veneers were installed correctly and that they met my exact specifications. I would recommend this office to my friends.

This place is amazing. What makes it amazing? One of the worlds best dental hygienists, Melissa Tucker. Her ability to provide a sense of ease and safety during procedures that tend to cause pain and panic is truly amazing. She genuinely cares for her patients and their well being. I refuse to have anyone else care for me and my families dental health. I can guarantee where she goes my family will follow.
