This was my first visit to Cortaro smiles, i moved to the area not too long ago and was hoping to find a good dentist, a friend of mine recommended them. The front desk personal was very friendly and helpful, and gave me enough time to fill out the initial intake forms and answer questions about my insurance. After that x rays were taken, and Melissa the hygienist took over the cleaning of my teeth. I was impressed with her speed, knowledge and making me feel at ease. (Lets be honest i never liked going to any dentist) I was impressed with their service and proffesionalism. I also met Dr. Lui she evaluated my teeth and gave me recommendations on how to move forward. (Couple of moler need attention) lt looks like i found my new dentist in town, and highly recommend their services.

Overcharged for procedures (had to go through insurance to get refunded), tried to sell unneeded services ($30 "antimicrobial rinse"!? It's mouthwash people, you can buy a whole bottle for $3 at any drug store). Recommended procedures on my children that other dentists (2nd, 3rd opinions from elsewhere) said were completely unnecessary. Awful experience all around, and I'm very happy my family and I now go elsewhere. Recommend you avoid at all costs.

Dentist was very pushy about the treatment that she deemed best. Would not even discuss other alternatives. The office in general gave me lots of misinformation regarding treatments. They seemed very annoyed when I said I was going to get a second opinion. They often did not return my calls when I had questions. I had to go in THREE times to get my records sent to another dentist. Not a well organized office. Office staff could be very rude at times.

I’ve been going to Cortaro smiles dentistry for years now, and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. One reason is my dental hygienist, Melissa Tucker. She is awesome! Every single person in the staff made me feel welcomed upon walking in. I was a new patient so this was very important to me. The online software to make an appointment sped up the process which was helpful. I need a lot of work done to my teeth and I won’t be dreading my next visits to the dentist ! Everyone was very personable and kept the visit very laid back. Definitely recommend!

The manager Nikki always has a smile on her face and it is so nice.The front office staff always treat everyone with dignity and respect. Joseph and Magaly are amazing very Knowledgeable,thorough, and quick At what they do. I had been to this place years before and was quite happy. However, it has changed and not for the better! They are now way over priced. A cleaning and an extraction cost me over $1600. They really push implants and when I declined I was given an estimate of nearly $6000 for a two tooth bridge. They were reluctant to give me an itemized copy of what I was paying for. Possibly because they’re ashamed to admit they charged $21 for numbing gel. Needless to say I’ll not be going back there.

Melissa is my hygienist and has been for years. I love her! I see her every 3 to 4 months and she is always thorough, honest and gentle. She's also fun and makes the visit enjoyable. If Melissa was to leave, I'd follow her wherever she goes.

We just had my daughters lip/tongue tie done and ALL the staff is AMAZING! They were all very professional and courteous with my family. I will go back when my daughter grows her first teeth and I definitely recommend them!
