The Dental Express Point Loma

This place is amazing! The customer experience is incredible. Every person on this team ensured I received the care and attention to provide a world class customer experience. The entire staff was knowledgeable regarding my care and they worked together to ensure they remained true to their name " Express".

I wish I would of remembered everyone's name but Alex def made an impression. Her corkiness and sense of humor made the visit very relaxed and enjoyable. The doctor was super personable and made it very easy to understand my work.

To top it off, they are affordable! They don't try to upswell you or sell you services that you don't need. They stay true to their recommendation and what is needed. They even sent me home with a T-Shirt and goodie bag. I'll be back within a week to complete my work. I am recommending this place to everyone

I have a severe phobia of the dentist. I unfortunately waited much too long to see on after a traumatic experience in Mexico. I came here after speaking with a friend who has a worse fear than me. He ended up coming here and was so impressed with the care they showed he brought them Starbucks and wore their shirt, all adorable. When they took me back I was taken care of by Kaylah, the sweetest dental assistant of all time. She immediately empathized with my fear and talked to me like an old friend, continually telling me it was going to be ok, making me laugh and sharing her experiences. I will be requesting her for all future appointments.
When the dentist came in she was also the sweetest most caring dentist I have yet to come across. She took the time to listen to my past trauma with dental clinics and made sure I knew how different they were in their handling of fearful patients. I told her I was embarrassed to be an adult who cried at the dentist. She told me not to dare feel that way because it can be a very scary and uncomfortable situation for anyone. It meant a lot that they took the time to assure me they would do everything necessary to make me feel safe and comfortable.

I am currently sitting in one of their dental chairs actually. My second appointment wasn't until the 4th of April. Medical had to approve all needed procedures. I had to come back in though because I'm in excruciating pain and they are doing everything they can to me me comfortable while we wait to hear back from medical .this place is seriously a god send for people like me.

I owe the BIGGEST THANK YOU to Dr. Jamie and his Dental Assistant Alex! I went in to Dental Express a few weeks ago after my roommates recommended I try their dental office. I was hesitant since the week before I had an uncomfortable experience at a previous dental appointment b/c of what I was wanting to have done. I have had dental issues since I was a little girl and my natural teeth were just shot and the upper molars were loose and three had fallen out this past summer. I didn't want more surgeries, appointments, root canals, bone grafting, deep cleanings, I just wanted to get dentures! (I've wanting them since I could remember). Dr. Jamie could tell I meant it too! He was awesome explaining to me the procedure and what I was impressed about the most was that he listened! He knew I was just over trying to fix my natural teeth and he knew this was something that I struggled with my whole life just from me briefly explaining my past dental procedures and issues. Two weeks ago I went in and had all my natural teeth extracted and had dentures put in. They are absolutely beautiful! The procedure was not too painful either. I mean it's a little uncomfortable, but come on, getting all your teeth yanked isn't going to be the greatest feeling at that moment, but it was definitely bearable and wasn't very long. I was actually laughing a couple of times during the procedure. lol.
Alex, his assistant was just awesome at answering any questions I had. She was so helpful with my questions and just made the visit comfortable and a good experience. The Admin staff is also great! Very friendly and very personable. I've never been to a dentist office where the entire staff was so welcoming. You can tell all the staff gets along with everyone and they have a nice working environment. It makes me want to work there. lol... I love the Choo-choo train! :)
I haven't been able to drink ice water in years and I can now! I haven't smiled much in pictures for over a year and now I am smiling in pictures! I haven't been covering my mouth with my hand when talking to people face to face in the last week. My natural gums are still healing but are healing great and I'm slowly beginning to eat other soft foods besides soup and ice cream. This procedure was done only two weeks ago. I can't get over how great it feels to have straight, pretty teeth! They are perfect and it was well worth the trade to get rid of my naturals for these! Thank you Dr. Jamie for helping me reach this long time goal I have had into a reality! I am forever grateful for the amazing work you and Alex did! Thank you! thank you! THANK YOU!!!!

My experience at Dental Express changed my perspective on going to the dentist. From the staff and dentist to the waiting and patient rooms, everything was provided within a friendly, professional space.

My Husband and I both HAD a horrible phobia when it came to dental visits but Dr. Jaime and his Assistant Ruben helped get us over our anxiety. Ruben is amazing at what he does. If you need impressions or getting Smile Correct trays, Ruben is the perfectionist you'll want to work with! Dr. Jaime is really nice, informative, and strait forward. He's incredibly helpful at helping you prioritize what work needs to be done and the staff is great at helping with breaking down financing. These people not only know what they're doing but they CARE about their patients. I highly recommend them if you need someone to help you get over your fears and get the job done!

To me, the dentist is a horrible place who's sole purpose is to fuel my anxiety. That being said, I hardly ever go to the dentist. I had a horrible tooth ache and have been going to this dentist for over a year now and I LOVE them. The staff are well knowledged, friendly, and make you feel safe! I HIGHLY recommend this place.

After years of not going to the dentist, I stumbled upon Dental Express. Everyone from the front desk, to the dental hygienist, and the dentist were very friendly and helpful. I felt like I was around family. If you are in the San Diego area please go there, you will not be disappointed.

Dr. Hansen is very nice and she took her time to listen to my concern without making me feel bad at all. The facility looks very clean and updated as well. Highly recommended!!

Everyone at Dental Express were extremely nice. I just went in for a dental cleaning, However, any question I had they answer very thoroughly, they answer all my questions. I was very nervous because I havent been to the dentist for a while, but everything went smoothly. I higly recommend. Also, they are very clean and i love their decor and their lounge chairs, haha..
