The Dental Express Point Loma

This is the first dental office that I actually enjoy visiting. Dr. Danielle is an exceptional dentist very friendly and caring. The work that she does is top notch. The office is clean, relaxing and the chairs are extremely comfortable. The staff are friendly and fun to talk with. They have a separate area for kids and I love the train that travels around.

I had an appointment at 10 o’clock. I waited in the lobby for 50 minutes without any of the receptionist give me any updates on how long I should still be waiting. I talk to them and they tell me they are busy and the wait is another 15 minutes. So I got frustrated and decided to cancel my appointment. Whenever I told them to cancel they offered to let me in. This was unacceptable and I will not be back.

I still canceled my appointment.

Fantastic! Super clean and easy to get to. Always so friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely concerned with making sure you’re comfortable and getting the very best solution for any issue. Would definitely recommend them to my friends and family. If you haven’t already called, do it now. Your mouth will thank you.

I flew to San Diego from NY for a family wedding, after having 12 hours of intense molar pain. Oh and I was 18 weeks pregnant at the time! My tooth was cracked for years and it finally exposed its root and the pain was at 9/10. I was easily scheduled a same day appointment and the receptionist could not have been more cordial to me over the phone. Finding out if they take my insurance was very important to me, and they were very assuring of coverage and cost. The dentist who saw me was very personable and comforting. He performed a thorough consult with X-rays (which did not hurt!). I was very nervous as I knew I wouldn’t be able to get much pain relief due to my pregnancy. During the course of my two visits to the establishment, both dental assistants were very knowledgeable with excellent bedside manner. I don’t think I’ve ever been more comfortable sitting in a dentist’s chair! After getting clearance from OB back home, he and the kind dental assistant took my tooth out with such expertise and finesse, I was more than grateful to be rid of the darned thing!
The dentist also made sure to call the pharmacist regarding pain relief, and prescribed me something that was safe for me in pregnancy.
Overall, upon arrival to departure from Dental Express, I received the best expert care I’ve ever received at any dental establishment. I think I might fly to San Diego’s Dental Express for my annual check ups! The train theme was well received by my 3 year old son who kept busy with all the toys, books and model trains all around the very clean waiting area.
Thank you to all who helped alleviate me of pain and concern... you are wonderful and what you do.

From the moment I called for an emergency filling because my filling had come out and was giving me excruciating pain, my experience was excellent overall. Arely, who helped me right away, was cordial, incredibly friendly, and understanding of my need to be seen right away.

I have been a patient here for about eight years. Dr. Davis & ALL of the staff (there's literally too many great people to name individually!) are all SO friendly, caring, calming, knowledgeable & professional. From the office managers, the front desk staff, & the dental hygienists, to the dentists themselves. They have "saved" me many times...toothaches are the worst, but they treat your pain immediately. They are VERY good at helping people with "dental anxiety"/dentophobia. I've also witnessed them taking special care of children to alleviate their fears. The staff there are all really underappreciated & deserve kudos for their hard work & extreme professionalism.....👏

I haven’t gone to the Dentist since, some Doctors give patients horrible experience and milk their patients with ungodly amount of debt. I’m giving it a 5 for Dr. Davis Do, the staff, and for the fact that it’s the first time ever where I didn’t feel pressured to do any work on my mouth.

They also have the latest technology like the Itero 3D scanner for your mouth. I think that was pretty dope.

I do highly recommend to always get your statements from first visit and every visit u do as there is human error sometimes. Also, know your your tooth numbers… that way you don’t get confuse what tooth they’re going to be working on.

I’m only going to Dr. Davis Do. If he ever gets his on practice. I’d probably follow him due to the fact that it’s very difficult to enjoy going to the Dentist. I was referred to him and I’m practically iffy of even going to any dentist.

PS. Too many Dentist charge their patient for unnecessary work. So go find a people person who actually enjoys doing their job.

I have not been to the dentist in 8 years and let me tell you, this place is awesome! I had hygienist Kim and Dr. Davis and they were wonderful. They spoke clearly, made sense of my questions, and did a thorough job at my cleaning and exam. It went so swimmingly that i would definitely come back here. They are modern, quick, thorough, and more importantly friendly. Make this you dentistry!

I would never recommend this place. The first time I went was for a cleaning and the lady next To me was screaming crying because she was in so much pain and one of the hygienist made a very ugly comment to her. I then had a tooth that was bothering me so I went in and they immediately said I needed a root canal. No antibiotics or anything, just started the root canal with me telling him that I could feel everything and drilled right into my nerve. My entire body folded in half and he stopped and sent me home with a hole in my tooth and said there was no saving my tooth. I then woke up the next morning with a broken tooth and had to rush to another dentist who put me on antibiotics and had to pull the tooth. Save yourself and your money and stay away from this place.
