DENTIST WARNING— Often times I see posts where people want advice for a new dentist when they are new to the area. We want to strongly discourage you from using Naples Modern Dentistry. Do NOT use them. (Location is Logan and Immokalee in the new Logan Landing shopping center). We had a very, very bad experience that I will outline below, but trust me in saying this is not a good idea. They appear to be removing bad reviews but I will keep reporting this to ensure you get to see it! Information is power.

Naples modern dentistry are very shady characters and you would be smart to avoid them. My husband and I both had appointments the same day several hours apart. While neither of us had any pre-existing conditions regarding grinding our teeth, but suddenly BOTH of us were told ( y the billing guy, Tommy) that we grind our teeth and now need a mouthguard to sleep in (which cost several hundred dollars and of course was not covered by insurance and would cost three times what we could get on the internet. Must be a very special mouthpiece!). Both of us find it very interesting that we had these new issues even though we always have semiannual exams at reputable dentists.

They also try to sell you a number of other upcharges all of which we declined. The really interesting part comes after we left the office when we got the potential list of charges for other services such as crowns and bridges where their charges were about four times higher than the allowed rate from our insurance. We pulled up the actual insurance coverage list emailed it to them and they still continued to tell us we were wrong. After my fourth call to the office Tommy finally did his research to realize we were right and he was wrong. It was a ‘computer coding issue’ and he would manually override it and email me. Two more days passed. I receive nothing. I call for the third time and now he says his email is down and he can’t send it. Then I tell him to text me a picture. Hours pass. Nothing. Finally another call to him and he now tells me the office owner, Mrs Hussein, now has decided she ‘just doesn’t feel good about using porcelain with someone who grinds their teeth’ and will only do the more expansive option. Again, something I’ve never heard before from other dentists. I asked him what happened to customer choice and he said there’s nothing he could do about it. Mrs. Hussein the owner really has a very poor understanding of customer service. It is my customer choice where to do business and I choose not to go there.

This office is so disturbingly slow with such poor customer service. I hope you all take a stand here and realize the importance of good service and go somewhere else.

This is Naples and you have choices in your dental care and this IS NOT THE PLACE - GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!!

Despite the fact I had an appointment for weeks and am a past client, they would not see me because my insurance changed (despite them still accepting the carrier) and they needed to confirm benefits which the unhappy and miserable receptionist would not do first thing in the am.

Why would you not ask about the insurance when I made the appointment? Why when you called to confirm the appointment did you not ask if my insurance info has changed.

I OFFERED TO PAY CASH and was told they couldn't accept cash!!!!!!!!

My husband called this place and scheduled an appointment for both of us. Two days before our appointment I got an email to confirm my appointment and I did. One day before I got a call to confirm my appointment and I said I did yesterday and the receptionist said I didn’t so she had to call and confirm. She also said I was set as the provider and my husband as the dependent but I told her it’s the other way around and she said we’ll fix it when we come in the next day. My appointment was at 8am and my husband’s at 9am.
We came in together at 7:55 and until about 8:10 we were waiting with 5 other people until someone showed up at the reception starting the day where we could hear everyone loudly chatting in the back while we were waiting.
Everyone who came in after us was seen before we were called in. We take time off work to be here btw.
While waiting in the waiting room you can loudly hear everyone chatting about private business and patient buisness and scheduling issues.
A patient was asked to go outside and get a mask and come back while there is staff around with no mask. I personally don’t care about masks but please.
Make up your own mind if you want to com here or not.

Everyone here is super nice and helpful and it was super stress free. I got a root canal for the first time and everything went off without a hitch definitely a 10/10 would recommend

Had a deep cleaning and wow was it the best I've ever had. Really enjoy going here and staff is so friendly. They really know their stuff. I also had an extraction before here, always know I am getting the best service here with their latest technology. Highly recommend.

The Office staff are pleasant and efficient.

Worst admin/billing admin- they cant get the claims to the insurance right. Resubmit but still wrong! Call them many times with the issue but cant get me back and wasting my time. It has been over 2 months now and still not resolved. My $1000 is still in the air and cant get my reimbursement since my EOB has some errors and was rejected.
