Naples Modern Dentistry

I’m a UPS driver and in general try to avoid doctor offices. I’m pretty stubborn about it and hadn’t been to the dentist in about 4 years.

This office is excellent. It’s nice and new, and right across from Oak and Stone. They seem to have all the top technology.

Dr. Hussain is outstanding. She is very friendly and very thorough. She made a comment about not being able to sleep at night if she doesn’t get it right. That’s what you look for out of a health care professional. She’s not in a hurry and does things the right way.

Also love Vanesa, the Dental Assistant. She’s very caring, knows what she’s doing, and is just generally awesome.

For hating doctor offices in general , I can’t wait for the next 8 or so appointments I’ll probably need!

I had a great experience getting my teeth cleaned at this place. They are in network with my insurance (CareFirst blue-cross blue-shield), which not many places in Naples are. Yes, if you need to have serious work done this place might be on a pricier side, but I like the service that I get and the convenience of this place being 5 mins from my house.
My only comment would be to possibly provide proper training to the front desk staff where they put your experience and well being before $. I know it’s a business, but it’s important how you present the financial aspect of it to your patients, which is something they are lacking on. I feel that’s what’s turning many people off about this practice, by reading the previous comments.

Great experience with Dr. Butch, Dr. Hussain, as well as the oral surgeon a few years back. My recent visit was with Dr. Butch. She was reassuring and takes the time to explain things to you in a way you can understand. All of the staff is great including the front desk, hygienist, and dental assistants.

I was apprehensive about going to the dentist but Dr. Archer made the whole experience pleasurable. Her patience and empathy does not go unnoticed! I will definitely be coming back and referring all my friends and family. If you’re scared to go to the dentist, Dr archer is the one to see!

Naples Modern Dentistry is an absolutely amazing experience! This team has amazing attention to detail and they care so much about their patients that the end results are amazing. I needed emergency dental care done with them when an old crown fell out, revealing a bad cavity that needed a root canal asap! Dr. Hussain prepared me for the procedure the same day that I came in and they did the first round of scans to expedite the installation of my crown. Two days later, I returned and Dr Okasha performed a root canal that was entirely painless. Then Dr Archer took care of the rest of my new crown installation, and even personally cleaned and examined my teeth! I had the pleasure of being taken care of by the amazing Dental Assistants on staff, including Jairo, Vanesa, and Laura. They were all beyond amazing, making sure that I was comfortable and providing the most competent Care imaginable. On each visit, I also had the pleasure of working with office manager Diego who helped to explain all billing to me and even hooked me up with an awesome financing plan, interest free for eighteen months ! Root canals aren’t cheap ya know.

I could not speak highly enough about the team at MODERN DENTISTRY in Naples. This is now my favorite dentist office, and will be my first call any time I am in Florida! Amazing care, unsurpassed results, and truly caring personal service. Kudos to them!

I have been a patient at Naples Modern Denistry now for three years! When they first opened they had some opening bumps along the way and now they really smoothed out their daily routine for patients like me that can be very detailed.
It starts first, with the Benefits Coordinator, Ronide Cherenfant she is really knowledgeable and professional. I severely questioned her regarding previous estimates for implant surgery from the past benefits coordinator as her estimates were higher. She handled my sometimes heated concerns about the newest estimate. After consulting with the Office manager, Diego and the lead dentist Faryal Husain we all came to a compromise on billing. They all took a bad situation and made me feel much better.
In all, Ronide handled my situation flawlessly with great composure. Ronide is very nice to work with and professional. Ronide, is a very pleasant person to work with.
Jairo, Diaz, is their lead dental assistant. Jairo, is very meticulous, knowledgeable, and explains and answers questions in a very professional manner. Both Ronide and Jairo are excellent assets to this office and should be compensated for their values.
Dr.Faryal, is the head dentist. She is very understanding and excellent at her craft! Dr. Faryal has worked on my teeth since she has been there.!She explains and tells it like it is after reviewing X-rays and pictures. I have never had a bad experience with her. When she examined the rescission on my two upper teeth she indicated it’s time for surgery or if not I could have a medical problem. I’m happy that I listened to her because the implant surgery process and waiting time for healing took about one year. Last Friday, had my crowns installed and they look great. The fit and look now I can smile again!
A shout out to the office manager, Diego Gadea it was his input and understanding of my discontent with billing. Diego, is very organized and great to work with!
Finally, Dr. Mohammad Oksana performed the oral surgery needed for my implants and crowns. He fully explained my case! It was not what I wanted to hear. In my opinion, Dr.Okasha is a very accomplished surgeon and dentist. He added gum tissue and bone then came the sutures it was encompassing but in the end Dr. Husain evaluated his work from the beginning to the end and called it a BIG SUCCESS!
A big thanks and Shut out to Ronide, Jairo, Diego, and especially to Dr. Husain and Dr. Oksana for being there for me when this all started about a year ago!
In summary, please give Naples Modern Denistry in Logan’s Landings in North Naples an opportunity…YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

Tolga is hands down the absolute best dental hygienist I’ve ever seen in my 57 years! He is so professional, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his patients dental hygiene. I look forward to getting my teeth cleaned because I feel my teeth always look their best when I get up from my service with Tolga.
If there was an award for being the best Hygienist in the country I would nominate him! … He’s that good!

I went to Modern Dentistry 11/8/2022 for my first visit for a cleaning after recently moving to the area. I wanted a cleaning, they took a full set of xrays, then the Dr. came in for the exam. After reviewing my xrays, was informed I'd need two crowns replaced, which after reading several other reviews, seems to be a common theme. I thought this was odd as I am having NO issues and crowns were not done that long ago. Let's just say I was suspect.

After the Dr. left the room, the financial person came in to discuss costs. I was told that the cost of each crown would be $1200 and that my insurance would only cover $300, even though my insurance covers 50% of this procedure. They do not accept insurance usual and customary costs. Also wanted me to have a fluoride treatment, which my dentist back in NH never recommended. So, the whole appointment was a upsell phishing expedition.

In addition to this, as I was sitting in the dental chair in the exam room, I noticed that the window sill where the window went to the floor was dirty, and there were small ants running around. Looked like the floor along the wall hadn't been vacuumed in a long time. My thought was if this is how they maintain the cleanliness of the office, what else are they ignoring.

Update: Went to a New Age Dentistry 11/14/2022 to get a second opinion, shared the same xrays that Naples Modern Dentistry had taken, Dr. did an exam and reviewed the xrays and said crowns look fine and no need to replace!

Naples Modern Dentistry is my new dentist! Very impressed with Dr Archer and the Hygienist, Tolga Guler, is the best ever! Thanks so much for an outstanding experience!

Please do not use the services of periodontist, Zuleidy Fernandez. She works out of ther Modern Dentistry location. She wanted to extract 4 of my teeth which another periodontist says way totally unnecessary and cut open my gums with telling me. She said the 4 teeth needed to be removed because they were causing other teeth to get worse. The procedure of cutting the gums would take weeks if not months to heal. There are laser procedures for the same thing and gums take a couple of days to hear. She told me that donated bone would be inserted to help with my bone loss. I looked it up and asked another periodontist but nothing like that exists. The bill to my insurance would be $17,318.00 and my portion would be $5,794.00. Thankfully I went elsewhere for a 2nd opinion. This person should not be a periodontist.
