Dr. Thomas recently completed a new upper denture that fits perfectly "right out of the box!" I'm amazed at the fit & feel of my new denture. In addition they provide complete care, from cleaning to whatever your need. Office visits are timely, no long waits. Staff is very friendly and re-assuring. Dr. Thomas is thorough & explains the process & treatment completely.

Had a cracked tooth, needed a crown. I chose Dr Mellow as my dentist.
I was soooo nervous. Dr. Mello, as she's working on me, started singing with the background music. Her singing put me completely at ease...my thought was: "If she's singing, that means that she knows what she's doing and she is not nervous or worried at all". I was able to relax IMMEDIATELY! All the stuff is wonderful! Besides, I can eat again on that side!!
Months later, had a tooth taking out by Dr. Mello. Before I could say "ouch", the tooth was out like magic!! Impressive! She's true to her trade. Thanks Dr. Mello and staff!! the best! Bobby offered to hold my hand when I said I was scared!

The worst dental office ever. Smells like mold. Very dirty. The guy with the tight pants has an attitude problem. My dentist was awesome though. His assistant Kai also has an attitude problem. I do not recommend going here.

There is a very calm feeling when I am there for my appointment.I have only been here two times. When I was referred by one of the Hawaii Family Dental patients, they told me how much they loved Doctor Thomas and how good and gentle he is. In this time of life we are in with a pandemic, it's comforting to know the dental office is accommodating patients. I just moved here from California and am blessed to find Dr. Thomas was so efficient.

Dr. Mello has been my dentist for almost two years now. She has been very professional, is always friendly, and has done a great job with my teeth and gum care. A filling come out that she put in 9 months ago and she was able to replace the filling within 5 days of it coming out. She even replaced it for no charge! The Kihei office of Hawaii Family Dental continues to really help me out during a challenging time. I've had a root canal and prep for two crowns, so far, with finished crowns and intensive periodontal work coming next month. I've been in the chair for a total of about four hours, so far, and have been very impressed. The staff has been excellent, from receptionists to endodontists, and everyone else, whatever their many areas of expertise. They helped me avoid an extraction that was recommended by a previous dentist but wouldn't have solved my problems. They helped me deal with vertigo that got triggered during the root canal and patiently helped me avoid having that triggered again during the crown prep. They set me up with affordable, no interest monthly payments to cover all the work. I'm very relieved and grateful and can't say enough how professional, skilled, friendly and helpful this dental office is.
