As someone who is very sensitive to pain near and below the gums, I feel fortunate to have found such a wonderful and caring group! I rarely have to worry about undue pain! I always feel welcomed. I had stopped going to the dentist for a little over two decades because of lousy and uncaring dental offices. I dont dread going to the dentist anymore! Lighthouse Dental is full of amazing people, but the hygienist Kim is the best!

I have been going to Lighthouse dental for years. I love Dr. Higginson! He is always so kind, supportive and encouraging. He provides a gentle approach to examinations and procedures, even when I had an extraction. It's so different from some dentists I've had who are critical and/or rough in their approach. I've been going to Lighthouse Dental for 7 years. I've always received excellent service from the staff and the dentist. Two years ago my dentist saw something unusual in one of my x-rays and further investigation revealed a serious medical problem...which was caught early due to Dr. Odo's diligence. I love Lighthouse Dental! From the check in to the check out, everyone is wonderful!! I recently had the privilege of spending time with Julia, taking impressions of my teeth, and she was a true joy! She helped me get through the lack of comfort from "the mold goop", and made the session enjoyable!

I was very happy to get my first appointment within a week. I called several other dental offices and they all had two months or longer wait times to get in. This office has a full staff and you can tell compared to the other offices working short staffed or have smaller facilities and have a hard time getting people serviced. This staff is very experienced and are some of the best I have ever dealt with. They obviously love working here and it shows in their service. I can honestly say I have not had a better experience with a dentist appointment.

I am a nervous dental patient. I found this dental office through my insurance's website. After looking at the reviews, I decided to try them. They were fabulous!!!!
The check in process was fast, even with filling out new patient forms. I barely sat down before I was called back, after filling out my forms. My hygienist was great. I have sensitive teeth and she was very gentle and did a thorough job. I was in the chair for well over an hour, not the quick 20 minute scrape and you are done.
Afterwards, the dentist came in and spoke to me. He actually took his time and carried on a conversation with me, asking me to "tell him about myself." I have never in my 50 + plus years on this planet ever had a dentist ask me that. He seemed genuinely interested.

I've been going to LHD now for the last 3-4 years and they are by far the best dental crew I have ever dealt with. I drive nearly an hour out of my way, happily, just to go. Worth every penny.
