I'm not scared of much......but the dentist! Newly moved from another part of Idaho, neighbor recommended them. I had a super bad tooth ache. Most places were closed or booked out. This was a emergency.
It was effecting my jaw, eyesight, migraine... It was horiffic!
I called Lighthouse and the staff was so understanding and awesome, got me in on their lunch time.
Dr, was awesome, calmed my fears, told me what and what needs to be done but made sure I was comfortable thought the weekend. They have a patient long as I live here! Total 5 stars!

My mother had told me that this is maybe the best dentist she’s had in her entire life (she’s nearly 89 years old), and I thought she was being her usual kind self- but actually I have to agree. I’ve only been home two hours from having a filling, and I have already personally recommended you guys to a colleague whom I know to be searching for a dentist she can feel good about. Lighthouse Dental, Dr. Oto and his staff are the best! They are extremely caring and professional. I had an inflammed area between 2 teeth when I had my teeth cleaned. They took precautions to ensure minimal discomfort while they evaluated and resolved it.

When I made my appointment I told the person on the phone that I was in a lot of pain. A filling had just fallen out and I am unable to eat on the right side of my mouth. I came in for my appointment and scans were performed to see if anything had reached my roots. The dentist confirmed that I would need fillings and no root canal necessary. I was only scheduled for a 30 minute window. This was not adequate time to do any dental work to repair my teeth. The next available appointment I was offered was 3 weeks away. No sense of urgency on their part. I asked the dentist if he could put anything in temporarily and he ignored me by laughing it off. I already contacted another dentist office that accepts my insurance and I have an appointment in less then a week.
My family has be coming to this office for years and never had a problem. I'm not sure what has changed but I will not be returning.

Dr. Oto is so careful and gentle, and all the staff are super friendly and helpful. The office is nicely furnished, with plenty of natural light, and provides a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. And the tooth fairy house is adorable!
