I really am not fond of dentistry. It always has made me nervous. I had to have an emergency treatment today and they were able to see me which was awesome. They were very accommodating and very gentle. They were so kind and made me feel welcome. I drove from Lexington and would gladly make this trip every time. Everyone there was personable and friendly and that made it more easy for me to relax during my appointment.

Most dentists I go to have been impersonal and negative. I found Dr. Young and his staff to be very friendly and just plain nice. I typically am very nervous and the hygienist and doctor both walked me through what they were doing and both tried to get to know me personally. I appreciated the relaxing atmosphere and professionalism.

I want to start by saying I went to aspen dental first right before Covid happened and had a great experience but ended up having to post pone my work until Covid was over. The second experience with them has been awful as it’s all new people.
I started my 2nd process of getting dental work done in July of 2022 I had my initial exam and X-rays. They were very unclear with the extent of work I needed done and every time I went they would tell me I had “new ones” and they were ones that had been since the very beginning. They wanted to break it up into different sessions which I understood but every time I would go they would tell me I needed more work and it was just a constant cycle of needing more but not being clear what I needed even when I asked.
Just today (December) did I finally get it all done.
On top of that it’s a different dentist every single time you go. It’s hard to know what you’re doing or not when 1. It’s not marked on the chart correctly and 2. It’s a different dentist every single time and they are asking you what you need but you don’t even know because it’s all been wrong.
Finally the majority of the staff is so rude and unprofessional especially the front desk lady. Any time I had to deal with her it was an unpleasant experience. She screamed that our flexible spending card would not process and was declined and then proceeded to ask me could I really not afford the small amount without using my flexible spending to which I replied no I can but we have money we want to use and no reason it shouldn’t work. The hygienist that I had today literally let water pour all over me because she was paying not a bit attention to what she needed to be doing. They don’t talk to you while they work literally just yank and pull around and then leave without communicating anything.
I’m not a person who likes to leave negative reviews but it has been the worst experience ever since it started in July but today was the final straw for it. I’m so glad it’s done and won’t ever plan to go back again.

Had a great experience at Aspen Dental. Second time there, and will be going back again, for sure. Dr. Patel had excellent attention to my needs as a patient and gained my trust by sincerely seek for what right treat would be for me as the patient. The dental hygienist also a great, and highly professional, as well as the rest of the staff in general. Would give more stars if I could.

I needed a couple of teeth extracted asap and found aspen dental at the last minute. When I walked in, I immediately felt comfortable. Jessica at the front desk was sweet and patient with me while I was trying to finish my paperwork. Not only her but every nurse that seen me today was very nice and polite. They cared for me real well. Once I got done with my X-rays and evaluation (which was free), they told me every step I needed to take going forward. I then met Dr. Ritz and he was also very polite and genuine. Gave me the facts straight without making me feel like I was dumb. And in the same day got my wisdom tooth and the molar next to it extracted. This was the first time I ever had surgery n he made me feel calm n made sure I was comfortable. I didn’t feel anything the whole time, didn’t even know when a tooth was pulled. I was concerned about what I would have to pay but Casey at the check out desk helped me out. She told me about their payment plan that was very convenient and affordable. My appointment was at 8am and I was out before 1:30. This was the best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist. I will definitely be back

I went to Aspen dental for the first time today and just had an amazing experience. From check in to check out the experience was five star. Everyone was very welcoming, courteous and professional. Walked me thru each step of my visit and made sure I was comfortable with everything that was going to happy.
