If you are currently in need of a dentist, you cannot go wrong here. The DMD's are personable and care about their patients. But then again, let's not forget the "staff" of this establishment. They are the back bone of this establishment and are absolutely wonderful and just as caring.
True, appointments are difficult to schedule through no fault of theirs as the COVID-19 pandemic has definitely thrown a "wrench" in everyday life. Roll with it people and take it in stride. Remember, each of us has to do "our part" to the best of our ability.

Dr. Shumway and the dental assistants rock! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr. Shumway is a perfectionist and makes sure that you are completely satisfied with his work every visit. I use to hate going to the dentist but I don’t mind it anymore. Thank you Family Dental for your professionalism.

This practice is friendly and effective. They are down to earth and generally interested in both your oral health and your daily quality of life. They will gladly listen to your stories and comments and will even allow you to talk minimally during your cleaning without snapping or inciting discomfort from you are on their end. They are informative but respectful to personal opinions and preferences when it comes to heeding the advice they offer. But still insistent on reminding you of the results of doing or not doing what they reccomend
