I think the charge of $544 for cleaning is ludicrous. " It includes cleaning and removal of plaque from teeth and root surfaces as therapy for gum disease. " I thought that's what cleaning did!
The office is esthetically pleasing. I did not like having to listen to loud country music. Might try to find music other than County!

One of the best dentists I have ever been to. I drive from Independence to Liberty to have them take care of my teeth. They are always friendly and if you need nitrous oxide for dental work they offer that. Many dentists don't offer that anymore. They are very good at explaining what needs to be done. I appreciate them very much. Just wish they were in Independence.

Wow! I was really impressed by this office!! I have been to many dentist due to not liking their work, staff, or pricing. This place not only has the best staff, amazing assistant (pretty sure hygienist filling in for assistant) Brittney was reassuring me and actually took my x-rays without hurting or putting me in discomfort (which never happen before that day due to a small mouth), the dentist Gary Reuter was very gentle and meticulous about correcting a tooth that was giving me a great deal of pain and issues (even had 2 other dentist try and fix it and that obviously didn't work) and he was able to make my bite comfortable enough to lay my teeth down and eat! Lastly, I loved the customer service from the office ladies Christina and Angelina! Make it very easy to understand my cost breakdown and put them into appointments. Very pleased I will have confidence with this office to fix my teeth by the end of the summer and make my permanent office.

Awesome, friendly staff! Always a pleasure to see them, the only negative was my poor hygienist kept getting stuck in a damaged spot on the floor; and couldn’t maneuver easily around me to clean my teeth.
I would recommend Highland Dental to anyone! Even my 12 year old likes to go.

The Dental hygienist I think her name was Mara (sorry if miss spelled) is the best hygienist I've had. She is quick but thorough. She obviously works well with the dentist. Overall great experience.

I went to Highland Dental on 11/2/20 with a tooth that was hurting and a swollen face. The tooth had been hurting slightly the week of 10/26/20 but hit hard on 10/30/20 but with the weekend coming up, the next Monday was the best choice. They did schedule me that day, despite being a new patient, which I was happy about with the way things were hurting.
The dental assistant did the base check up and took all sorts of x-rays to access the situation. It was difficult to take a couple of them because it hurt to open my jaw up too widely. When the dentist came in, she looked around for a decent amount of time and made notes to the assistant.
The dentist advised I had a tooth in the back left that needed to be extracted and offered her services or a referral to an oral surgeon who would not be available before 11/5/20. As she could do it sooner, I selected the dentist. The dentist told me I would be called by the affiliated Kearney Dental office the next day, 11/3/20, to schedule the appointment for that day as the dentist would be working from there from Tuesday to Thursday.
The scheduling did not go well and I ended up in the hospital on Thursday to have the tooth extracted by a surgeon and the infection drained. Full story on my review for Kearney Dental.
The staff at Highland Dental were helpful and pleasant. I do not really blame them for the situation that unfolded but was not happy with the dentist in question.

As this was my first visit to a Dental office since moving to MO, the experience was very good. The front office staff was pleasant. The hygienist was pleasant, did a good job in cleaning my teeth and explaining some of the minor issues she was seeing. The dentist was pleasant also and seemed personable. The front lobby area of the office was very nice and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. However, the patient care areas were a bit bleak and appeared outdated. In comparison to the office I came from in Georgia, this office could use some updating. As for patient care and front office welcoming, which is more important, I have no complaints.

My husband went here when he chipped a tooth. They were able to get him in within a couple of hours and get him taken care of. The entire staff was very friendly and professional. My husband has anxiety when seeing doctors/dentists but they helped him feel very comfortable. Dr Kirschbaum was also gentle while working on his teeth, unlike some other places we had been in the past. We will definitely be coming back here for all our dental needs.
