Shadow Mountain Dental Group and Orthodontics

I have been a patient with Shadow Mountain for over 7 years. No issues until recently. Continued, compounded issues that get worse each visit, not better.

Dr. Ali Shahrestani by far is one of the best Doctors we've ever been to. He is caring, compassionate, thorough and the best Dentist we've ever been to. He also has excellent, caring, efficient staff.

Venessa did my deep cleaning today, and made my experience very quick and easy. She was super informative on the steps since it was my first time getting numbed as well as a deep clean! Thank you Venessa!

Marie, the assistant office manager, informed me when I checked in my two sons for their appointments that I did not have to stay while they had their treatment. Unfortunately, I could not stay and had to get back to work. As I was driving on Summerlin Pkwy., I received a call that Dr. Wolf's policy is that a parent/guardian remain in office during the time of treatment. So I either need to go back or the appointments need to be rescheduled. When I asked to speak to Marie, she stated she did not know Dr. Wolf's policy. I am an officer manager and paralegal and I am well informed of what each attorney's, in my office, policies are. What kind of "assistant manager" is not informed of a doctor's policy in their office? Shadow Mountain needs a new office manager that is well informed of ALL office policies. We will not be returning to this office and request that our medical records be transferred to Montecito Dental.

My 13 year old daughter was very nervous to get a cavity filled (she HATES needles) Dr. Yu and his assistant Sandy and Shadow Mountain Dental were AMAZING. So gentle with her and very patient with her as well. Sandy went I to detail what she was going to do and it made my daughter feel more comfortable. Thank you Sandy and Dr. Yu!

Such a wonderful office, everyone is so so nice and so professional I highly recommend this dental office to everyone.

Everyone is friendly and professional. they are very accommodating finding the best option for my teeth. Dr shahrestani is the best!

We called on Saturday afternoon for an emergency appointment. Dr. Leake and all the staff was amazing. They got us in right away. Dr. Leake gave us a couple treatment options with cost breakdown. I cannot say enough how friendly and understanding everyone at the office was. We will definitely be coming back here for all our families dental needs.

I arrived at 8:45 to be early. I did not get seen until 9:20. I understand that I was a new patient, therefore I was expecting a slight delay. But being the second person to walk in but the last out of four people to be taken to the back. It wasn’t until another new patient( that came in after me) was taken to the back before I did, that I did not agree with the service. I did not understand or felt comfortable with the numerous amount of X-rays that was taken over and over again so therefore I asked if could not take any more, the lady politely said it was fine. The room I was in was dusty and looked unsanitary ( hair on and near the uncovered seat). The doctor did not walk in the room until after 10am. I gave the doctor my history, of having a deep cleaning and the extraction of my wisdom teeth and I felt that he took that information and concluded that I automatically needed another deep cleaning. And went on to check the depth of my gum pockets. Other than telling me that I had no cavities, he did not tell me the overall health of my teeth. He then sent in another person to give me information and the cost of a deep cleaning percedure (which I was aware of from my previous deep cleaning). Then I was sent on my merry way (no professional cleaning). I will be searching for a different dentist to get a second opinion. Overall I would suggest to listen to what the doctor has to say before telling your dental history. Lesson learned! I definitely would not recommend this place!

Dr. Leake is professional and explained everything. The staff at the front- Kasey breaks down the price so there are no surprises. Definitely impressed with this dentistry. Will be back again!
