This is my first visit to Shadow Mountain and I'm incredibly impressed.
As a fellow medical professional I value not only the expertise of colleagues but their kindness and candor. Toree and Dr. Brown have all of these important qualities! Thank you again for this quality care, my entire family comes to this practice.

This is one of the best dentist I have been to in Las Vegas since moving. Toree and Dr brown made me feel comfortable as a new patient. Definitely would recommend.

I arrived for my appointment and was greeted and brought to my exam room quickly, talk about efficiency.

Dr.Brown and his dental assistant Joshua were great at helping me to understand my dental needs and plan for future dental care.

I was originally in for an exam and was able to get a same day cleaning from their amazing hygienist, Cerena, while I waited for my filling treatment!

Shadow Mountains team is flexible, kind, and their wealth of experience is all a dental patient could ask for.

Friendly, welcoming and very professional Dr. and staff. Dr. Guneet Guron is a caring kind dentist and thorough with all the procedures, make you feel comfortable. A very good role model as a dentist. Definitely recommend.

Front office staff are very rude, unprofessional, and clearly do not care for your time. When I asked who the manager was, I was surprised to be informed that it was the grown woman, Angie, who had been cackling and joking, with what seemed to be a doctor, about inappropriate jokes. This whole establishment is a joke and is riddled with unprofessionalism. Save yourself the trip and invest in better care.

Call and speak to whom? The manager? The one I mentioned in this review? Absolutely not. Get a new crew in the front. Maybe someone that can actually run an office.

Don't go here! My insurance changed from PPO to HMO. I selected this place strictly because it was close to my house and had good reviews on the Cigna site for providers within our plan. I was duped. It started normal. Got X-rays, they had all the latest equipment, etc. Next, got put in the dental chair and was told the dentist would be right in. He strolls in 30 minutes later, examines my teeth, tells me my teeth look great, but I have bleeding gums when he pokes them with the depth gauge. He recommended a deep cleaning and leaves. Another lady comes in to "go over the costs." She tells me that a deep cleaning is $375. I balked at the price, so miraculously she tells me there's an alternative for $195. Yeah, that was no better. I asked her to explain the difference between the $375 deep cleaning, the $195 cleaning, and the free cleaning covered by my dental insurance. She couldn't explain. I felt like I was being finessed. Seemed like a bait and switch to me. So, I said, no, I will just take the regular cleaning. She proceeds to tell me the hygienist is busy with another patient and I will have to schedule another appointment. I said, no, I came here for a cleaning, not to only have an exam. She says when they are short hygienist, the dentist will do the cleaning. I said fine. Next, comes in a young lady to polish my teeth. She was absolutely horrible at her job. Worst teeth polishing of my life. Firstly, she only polished 4 top teeth and 4 bottom teeth. She rinsed my teeth, told me spit, and thought she was done. Then, when I asked was she going to polish the rest of my teeth, she giggled and said, "My bad." She then proceeded to rub the polisher on my teeth in a racecar fashion - dragging the polisher back and forth over several teeth in a matter of seconds. That was fun (NOT!) Next, I waited, and waited, and waited for the dentist to do the cleaning. He finally strolls in again, cleans my teeth in about 5 minutes flat, and tells me he will see me in 6 months. It's the fastest cleaning I have ever had in my life and I have been getting cleanings for well over 40 years. I highly doubt he did a good job. He didn't even use the steel manual scaler. He only used the water scaler and did so as quickly as possible. So, there is no way I would ever recommend this place to anyone.

The way it should work is:
1. X-ray
2. Cleaning and polishing by hygienist
3. Exam by dentist

That's the way every dental office in California and Nevada that I have been a patient at operated. Not this place. It's out of order and some of the staff need better training.

And stop trying to upsell patients with a bunch of stuff they don't need or want.

Oh, did I mention that my cleaning appointment lasted two hours, there was no tv in the exam room to entertain me during the endless waiting, and you don't get a dental goodie bag (toothbrush, mini toothpaste, and floss)?

I am giving a 2-star rating because the check-in process was smooth and x-ray process was nice. Otherwise, I would have given a 1-star review.

Steer clear of this place. You have been warned!

Wasn’t informed i had options with my crown. One being entirely covered by my insurance! They only presented the same day crown option which involves an oop cost. Said they can give a discount and since i thought my insurance doesn’t cover it and it was my only option, i accepted. Only found out i HAD A FULLY COVERED option when i got home and saw another clinic’s quote to me. Called them right away to discuss it and was told a manager will call me. Called again the next day and was told the same thing. Waited 2 weeks no one called!! So i had to call again!! Talk about customer service!! Finally a manager spoke with me but only gave me a portion of the cost back! I paid $600+ when it could’ve been fully covered for a basic crown!! I didn’t need the “better material and quality” crown!! Never going back there unless this crown breaks for the warranty!! BEWARE!!
