Have been using Dental/Works in the past & was happy with the actual Dentist he was okay but, the location I previously went to on Austinpeay. I just switched to the Park Ave location and have only been there once. However it was a totally different experience. I was a bit nervous which is normal when going to dentist office but the atmosphere at the Park Ave location was so surprisingly different much more relaxing & I can’t say enough about the WHOLE office staff in general. They could not have been nicer it was like night & day compared to the other branch. Where unfortunately they do not really treat you as people. Don’t hey me wrong the actual Dentist that worked on me was a very very nice man but, it felt like he didn’t even have a say about anything else that went on in the office it was like 1 of the techs ran the whole office & everyone else was run by them & deferred to her about anything you couldn’t even speak to ANY other Employee without her knowledge or interference & unfortunately made the whole experience VERY uncomfortable & dreaded going in each time & I did have to go over a year to complete procedure. I’ve just started at the Park Ave location & after only 1 appointment the atmosphere is so much better & I’m no longer dreading to go in & finally get the work done that I should have done continually at the other place but, was so uncomfortable going in I unfortunately put off. I only wish I would’ve known about the office at 5180 Park Ave long before now. The Dentist office in general may not be one of my favorite places to go but I never minded going before & I was never terrified to go until my experience at the Austin Peay location & am just so relieved to have found the Park Ave location. Before going to either DentalWorks I’d only been to 1 Dentist for more than 50 years & had never known why so many people were afraid of Dentist’s till that Austin Peay office but, again to make it clear the Dentist there was very nice but unfortunately was in no way had any say of what went on in the office & also deferred to the Tech & basically if I had any questions even for the lab workers as well as front desk & also billing dept. They all deferred to this very scary & abrupt Dental tech. I’m just glad I did find the other location as well as finally getting the nerve to show up for the appointment since I was very apprehensive because of the experience I went thru at the other office. I’m so relieved I finally did & can’t wait to be able to eat somewhat normally again. I really want to Thank the Park Ave office even though I haven’t had anything done yet except that they’ve quelled my fears & I can hopefully move on & look forward to no longer fear going to the Dentist again. So I just wanted to thank you all in advance for making me feel so at ease.

I got my teeth cleaned today. Shelia is the absolute best. Also, I’ve been coming to DentalWorks when the business was named Land and Dietz. I will continue coming here as long as Dr. Dietz continues practicing.

And sure enough, my phone rang. Saying hi this is Dental Works, we have a cancellation. And so easy I was in and out with great service!

Overall visit was god. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment. Waited 5 minutes before being greeted. Staff greeted and took my temperature. Filled paperwork out. After completion of paperwork, the hygienist greeted me and told me to come back. Sat down and we began to talk. I told her about my experience with another dentist I had to see since Dental Works was closed. The hygienist listen and she addressed my concerned. She applied some pain reliever to sooty my gums. She was gentle and calm. I didn't have major anxiety. The dentist came in and talk to me.

Every time I've visited DentalWorks, the staff has been fast and kind and professional. My hygienist is Sheila and she is great at what age does. I'm in and out in mere minutes with a perfectly clean smile and a fresh tooth brush, toothpaste, and floss with every visit. I would highly recommend this place to every one of my friends and family.

Dr. Dietz and staff are the best and most friendly set of people I have ever known. These people don't rush into the patient's plan of treatment. They tell you what the insurance cover and if you have it than, pay for it, but if you don't just save the money and make an appointment and go back. They treat me nice and even though I am just a big cry baby they still treat me like an adult. I just don't like those big needles, I am afraid of them. But I had to get a tooth out because I was in pain and I was miserable. Dr. Dietz took care of the problem and he didn't rush doing the procedure. I recommend anyone to go to Dr. Dietz, he's an an excellent dentist! Thanks so much for having good hands and a mind to do the dental work.
