Awesome staff. Had wisdom tooth pulled. It went fast with little to no pain. Had teeth cleaned and dental hygienist was awesome. I had some swelling around my gums and she was very considerate as she worked in my mouth to get me better.

I went here from Dec.2016-April 2017. After applying for an Amazon card for the holidays in Dec. 2018 and upon further inquiries I found a public inquiry was made to the credit bureau for $827.00 from G S Medical. I later found a debt collection agency was involved on behalf of Aspen Dental. I have until my last appointment , I believe was April 20, 2017, I diligently inquired and paid amounts due totaling $905.70, while also being told my insurance had been filed. This office knew I was using grant funds awarded to me from the Dept. of Aging and Disability Services for payment in addition to my dental insurance. I have been on full medical disability since 1994 and was 62 years old in 2017. In addition to being accountable for grant funds I used, this office was also aware that the opportunity to move near all my family in Houston would be taking place the end of April 2017 and that I wanted to settle my bill beforehand. My last account detail indicated a$0.00 balance, I was told I did not owe anything and my insurance was taken care of. Last week I was told by this office that it was noted on my account detail my insurance was terminated. I mailed proof this was not the case. I do not know specifically what this bill is for despite my requests. I have left 5 messages for the Patient Satisfaction Team to contact me, each time waiting the 48 hours for their response. The debt collection agency told me my account was on hold as of Feb.6 this year and being investigated by Aspen within 30 days. I have filed 2 disputes with the credit bureau (after 23 years of sacrificing to pay my bills my credit is being ruined), I am in poor health with multiple disabilities, currently in severe pain due to spinal and sciatica. I saw the chiropractor yesterday, will start physical therapy today and spinal injections are upcoming soon. This bill is more than my disability income. This situation is creating stress impacting my already compromised health and it is imperative it be resolved, my credit be restored, and done so ASAP. Do not go here with any expectations of good care. They only care about getting your money! My new patient visit consisted of an incompetent girl who couldn't take my ex-rays. She changed her sterile gloves 6 times just doing x-rays. Who does that? No bodily fluids were exchanged.
I went to these people because a tooth broke off my partial. They wanted $135(Initially) to repair it and $2000 to replace it with "Permanent" dentures. I only PAID $900 for these existing "Permanent" dentures a year ago! Half that price was $1000 for a deep cleaning that they refused to take off or they wouldn't even make the new dentures. That's just extortion! I ended up calling my previous dentist 3 hours away and they said the dentures were under waranty so I'm driving the 3 hours back to them and getting the job done. Don't be forced to pay for care just because it seems like an emergency.

Changed my review from 5 stars to 1 star because of how the receptionist treated me and my situation. I was in excruciating pain and needed help ASAP! I called Aspen in Longview trying to see if the one here in Tyler was even open because no one was answering the phone. The receptionist in Longview was more concerned about my well-being than the one here in MY hometown smh. Aspen in Longview told me that they had an opening at 9am. For some some reason she couldn't get me in there manually so she said she would call and for me to call also and if I didn't get them to call back. I finally got ahold to the receptionist, told her what was going on and let her know that the receptionist in Longview said there was an opening at 9am. She said that they were busy and that she would call me if they slow down. SO ASPEN DENTAL LOST A PATIENT AS SOON AS SHE SAID THAT. Found another dentist office who cared and now I feel so much better!

Staff and dentist were truly wonderful. But their pricing chased me away: just over $1,000 to get my teeth cleaned, $6,000 for a bridge or $10,000 (Ten. Thousand. Dollars) for 2 implants (both of the latter were with a 20% discount). All the payment plans in the world don’t justify those prices.

Going to the dentist was so hard for me in the past but when I went to Aspen Dental, my mind was at ease. The staff there were awesome and very friendly and so helpful. They explained to me everything that I needed to know.

The people are great and really seem to try to get you in as soon as possible. They also let you know about the cost up front and what your options are. Really like the dentist. Seems like he is genuinely a good guy. I would definitely refer friends and family.

If you love the experience of overbearing salesmanship akin to used car dealers then this place is perfect.
A simple request for denture repair can (and will) morph into extensive and expensive options and cleanings that you never knew you wanted. You'll get caught up in a whirlwind of x-rays and examinations only to be told that your original request for repair can't be completed, or even be put on the radar because of the other services you now require--even though the previous day's phone conversation said the repair could absolutely be completed.
Yep, a bait and switch tactic that only rivals the seediest of jealous car dealers.
I didn't think it possible to turn dentistry in to a three ring circus with overpriced tickets and misleading freak shows...but this establishment has succeeded.

Not pleased at ALL with this Tyler Tx location. Took my daughter in because of pain in her teeth in January, this was on the 17th. They took a number of x-rays and wrote her a treatment plan. It consisted of 1 root canal and many fillings. The total came to 4790.00. We have insurance and there was a young man helping us who claimed while we were there that they were trying to get in touch with them several times, but had not been successful. This young man helping us was very nice but something seemed to be missing, maybe it was his sincerity, it was questionable. Anyway we left with a prescription to get rid of her infection they said she had and a promise to contact us as soon as they heard from the insurance. I called them a couple of days later to follow up because we hadn't heard anything and again that young man told me they were still trying to reach my insurance and when they did they would call my daughter. Since then I have received a few emails from them addressed to my daughter asking if she had any questions almost like we had already had something done or they were reminding us that if we needed any help they would be happy to help. I am thinking at this point this is ridiculous. O and by they way we still have not heard from them concerning whether or not the insurance approved for my daughter to get her root canal and fillings done, and today is Feb 9th. Not happy with this place at all and won't be going back. My daughter still has her issues. Now we have to find another dentist.
