Sala family dentistry is a very well run and organized office. The staff are all wonderful to deal with and very welcoming and friendly. My last visit I met Ana and Dr. Morales. Ana did my dental cleaning and did a nice job along with just being sweet to deal with. Dr. Morales was likewise very nice and professional and thoroughly explained the upcoming plan for a couple of my crowns that I need replaced. I would readily recommend this office which has I think 11 dentists and 9 support staff employed there. They also follow all the covid protocols including coming to get you at a numbered parking spot when you arrive for your appt and taking your temperature as you enter the building. Masks are required at this time for everyone in the building until your actual procedure starts. Staff continues to wear theirs.

I just had an amazing appointment with Kandice. I think she’s the best dental hygienist ever! Shawna came in and worked her magic and then Dr. Josh who was very thorough and friendly finishing up my appointment with Jason Who set me up with my next appointment. I would highly recommend and have recommended Sala Family Dentistry to the family and friends.

Three days before Thanksgiving I chipped my front tooth while biting my nails! (I don't recommend doing that)..And what was even worse was that I was in Reno visiting from out of state. With very little time to fix my tooth before Thanksgiving I reached out to Sala dental to see if I could book a last minute appointment. Not only was I able to book an appointment THREE DAYS BEFORE THANKSGIVING, but my overall experience with this dental office was incredible. Dr. Josh and his team made me feel at home, and as people were heading out of the office for the holiday break, he and his team took the time to pay attention to me and wanted to help me right away. And to top it all off, a member of the insurance team at Sala dental came into the room and told me what my insurance was going to cover. THAT WAS INCREDIBLE! Everyone in that office wanted to help me and before I knew it I was in and out of there with enough time for turkey dinner. I HIGHLY recommend Sala Dental. These people are genuine and care about you and your needs, and most importantly they will save you from the embarrassment of having to smile with a chipped tooth during Thanksgiving pictures. It's a bummer I don't live in Reno, I don't know how anyone is going to top my experience at Sala Dental Office.

I have been going to Sala family dentistry for years now, and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Jason is always thorough and never rushes through an appointment. He always does what is right for the patient. Kandice is the best hygienist I have seen. She is such a pleasure to be around and phenomenal at her job. I highly recommend their services!

Iris was my hygienist, she is amazing! Makes you feel comfortable, relaxed. I had a great chat with her! Dr. Josh was the dentist I saw he was very nice and thorough. Last but definitely not least is Jason. Jason processed out, and gor me on with my day quickly and painlessly. 🤗👍❤

You’re greeted upon arrival and the facility is clean. My assistant Alyssa is always very friendly and fun to chat with. Dr. Christina and Alyssa work very well together with patient comfort in mind throughout your visit. Dr. Christina is very informative, you know exactly what will be done and about how long it will take. Both are a pleasure to have as work is being done. They both do a great job keeping things as painless as possible. I hardly feel a thing! Then to top it all off checking out with the front desk I am greeted with a big smile and friendly conversation from Tricia who makes checking out a breeze. She makes sure to find out what else may be needed and works with your schedule to get you in for your next visit.

Reasons we love this office and will keep returning and recommending them to family and friends:

They treat my kids like complete and capable humans. They ask them questions and really listen to their responses, maintaining eye contact and asking follow-up questions.

They explain everything in detail, to me and to the kids, so we all feel comfortable. They even encourage the kids to sit close by while their sibling is getting work done so they can observe and learn.

I get the sense they genuinely care about our best interest rather than just making money, because of how they deliberate about courses of treatment, and because when I check with our family members in the dentistry field, they always agree with the courses these dentists have recommended.

When both of my kids ended up needing some baby teeth pulled, both procedures were done with the utmost care. The dentist, both times, checked in with the kids very frequently, easily every couple minutes, to make sure they were properly numbed. He would even double check that they were being honest, saying he would be sad to find out later that they had actually felt pain, and that he would never want that. He also really took his time and was incredibly gentle. In fact, my youngest told me later that day that it actually "felt good" when the dentist pulled the teeth out, like a sense of relief.

Leading up to this procedure, the hygienist asked if they felt scared or had any concerns. She genuinely listened to their responses, compassionately addressing each one, and asking if they had more concerns.

The cleanliness of the office is stellar as well. We had missed our 6 month checkups due to the virus, but when my oldest got a toothache and we couldn't avoid the dentist any longer, I was so pleased to find out about the air purification system they had added to their already advanced cleaning procedures. Combined with closing their waiting room and doing temperature checks and screenings upon arrival, we feel really comfortable and safe in this office, even during the pandemic.

Finally, knowing they donate so much money in dental services to the community really makes me happy, and is just one more reason I always look forward to seeing them.

I had some needed dental work yesterday at Sala Family Dentistry. Dr. Christina and her assistant, Allyssa, were awesome. They were efficient and so pleasant. I also felt very safe with all the hygenic protocols they used throughout their work. Jason checked me out of the office and was very sweet and helpful, too. Thank you, Sala Family Dentistry, for the great care and professionalism my family has experienced in all the years with your practice.

This place rocks! I was referred by a coworker and they were right they have an amazing, and kind staff. I have anxiety and their massage chair kick butt. Thanks Deana M. for helping me the other day. Keep up the great work!
