We are HUGE fans of Friendly Dental! We see Dr. Barnwell and we love him! We take all of our kids here (ages 6 to 13) and while Friendly Dental isn't specifically a pediatric dentist, the kids tell me EVERY SINGLE TIME we are leaving the office "mom, I like this new dentist WAY better" and as a mom, I can't tell you how great that makes me feel! Going to the dentist can be so scary and intimidating, but Dr. Barnwell is always so gentle and kind, the hygienists are always so amazing with the kids as well and they've been nothing but kind and accommodating when scheduling appointments around our crazy school and work schedules. I only wish I had brought my kids here sooner. We are proud patients of Friendly Dental and I don't see us going anywhere else. Thank you, Dr. Barnwell and team for your amazing care and professionalism! We'll be seeing you again in a few weeks and we are actually looking forward to it!👍🏻😁

We bring our 3 year old daughter here and she loves them. They are very good with children even if it isn't a 'pediatric dentistry' clinic. I am also seen here and have had no bad experience.

I moved to the area about 2 years ago and was unsure of where to go for dental assistance. Without word of mouth, I had to rely on google reviews and stubbled upon rock hill friendly dental, which was conveniently near my home. They have given me awesome customer service and I could tell most of everyone I spoke to had many years of experience. The assistants are extremely friendly and Dr Castillo did a great job on my fillings. She was very quick and comfortable with the work she provided and I will definitely use her in the future for any dental work I need done. Thank you for everything!

Greedy and negligent practice. Refused to treat cavity because the upgraded fancy cleaning that insurance doesn't cover is not currently in the budget. Refused to do standard cleaning and filling despite both of those being completely covered by insurance. They had NO problem requiring and billing to have Xrays done in house despite having them from another practice. My insurance only covers that every other year. As a fellow healthcare provider, negative stars. It's definitely not health first, it's money first!

My husband and I have been going to this dental practice for years now. We wouldn’t go anywhere else. They make us feel like family and they are always patient, professional, and personable. We highly recommend Dr. Blackwell because we are very happy with the work he’s done for us and we appreciate all the fine folks on his team.

Awesome place. Dr. Castillo was very nice, but the real star was Sindy her assistant. She was extremely personable and explained everything in full detail. Even my silly questions. She eased my mind and had me walking out very confident in reaching my health teeth goals.
Gina or Jenna was so helpful with all my phone / insurance questions and followed up with all the details I needed the same day. She's the right person to be answering the phones. Such a sweet person

I love this office. Everyone made my experience enjoyable! Darby was an awesome dental hygienist with great mannerisms which really made the appointment feel more like a conversation than dental work. Lexi, the patient clerk, was also very friendly. This is my new go to spot. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience! Everyone is so nice and the doctor answered and explained all my questions in an easy way for me to understand. The office is very clean and the office staff is helpful and friendly!!
