My regular dentist is located in Goodyear and I live in Surprise. I thought I’d go to this practice for a routine cleaning since it was close and had good reviews. Had my routine cleaning done and they told me I need SEVEN fillings. I take care of my teeth pretty well so I was shocked to say the least. I decided NOT to have these fillings done and went back to my regular dentist for my next cleaning and I needed no fillings at all. Afterwards I explained my experience here and it’s clear they scam patients into procedures they don’t need to collect the insurance. Beware of these corporate type dental offices.

It’s been almost a year since made to decision to stop giving this practice my money. The one reason I’m ok giving it even one star, is due to a single hygienist that performed multiple high quality cleanings but is no longer there. Which is a sign to me.
I had a strange feeling that I was being gas lit when every cleaning there was a need for a filling. As a reasonable human I admit I slack sometimes on oral hygiene but not that badly. After the last cleaning visit of having a filling (that had just been deemed in good condition by the dentist) picked out by the hygienist during a cleaning, I started questioning why I was still coming here. Then on a return visit of being told that I needed a new filling on a tooth that was not giving me any issues, I was done!!! I Went to another 5 star dentist for a second opinion and have nothing but solid check ups since.
Now it’s just a matter of having the fillings done by this practice replaced by a new quality focused dentist with state of the art equipment and visibly better x ray capability. With the exception of one, all fillings done here were poorly contoured in such a way that they are prone to getting food lodged and are difficult to floss effectively.
Hindsight I would have recognized poor quality gas lighting and taken my business elsewhere.

I first and foremost want to say that the service I’ve received so far has been amazing, from the moment you walk through the door and leave. The staff, everyone from the receptionists to the hygienists and the doctors treat you with the utmost kindness and make you feel so welcome. I don’t know what you guys do every day before you start work, but the energy in the office is anything I’ve ever seen. Keep up the great work, you obviously love what your doing.

I Just want to say I have never felt more calm and at ease in a dentist office before. I had to have my very first filling today and it honestly could not have gone any better. Of course the process itself is not pleasant, but the Doctor explained everything so well and kept me well-informed of everything he was doing. His assistant was just as kind and welcoming, and I am so glad that we have finally found a good dentist office in the Surprise area! I would recommend Martineau Dentistry to anyone looking for a good place to go!

Great cleaning. Like Adina. Very nice. Maybe just a thought, would like to wear protective glasses during the process. Also, if they suggest to keep an eye on a tooth, show me by using a mirror. Don't really know the numbers of the teeth. Overall, enjoy all the gals. Very friendly and helpful.

I've seen 3 dentists and 3 hygienists since I started coming here about 2 years ago, and I've always had a great experience regardless of the provider. I'm confident that I finally found a great dental practice, that is honest about what treatment I need. In the 2 years since becoming a patient here, they found 1 small cavity while another dental office nearby gave me a treatment plan of over $2000 worth of treatment right before I switched.
