TL;DR Very kind and patient. Great experience for someone with anxiety.
My experience: I suffer from anxiety already. But going to the dentist makes it spike. Dr. Brent asked me ahead of time if there was anything I was concerned about and I told him I was a little anxious and didn't numb well. He was very kind and assured me he would do everything he could to make it a positive experience. He made sure I was nice and numb before starting. However, as soon as I began to be numb I had a full blown panic attack. Shaking, crying, racing heartbeat. He immediately went into action and had the dental assistants, etc. help make me comfortable and they waited until I felt calm enough before proceeding, even if it meant waiting 10-15 minutes or so. They were very calm and kind and reassuring that everything would be okay and that I could take my time. I finally calmed down and they were able to proceed. Before I knew it, my filling was done and off I went! Very good experience and comforting to know that I will be taken care of even when I'm particularly vulnerable in a panic state. Would recommend this office.
