Dr. Keeton is amazing! He’s so patient and great with kids!! My grandson needed to have a cavity filled on Halloween, and it was the most stress free experience for him and for me! Dr. Keeton even wore a Batman mask just to make it especially fun. I have never met a dentist who worked this well with keiki!! The staff are phenomenal as well. They are kind and go out of their way to give my grandson all kids of goodies whenever he comes. He even got to go trick or treating in the office. They think of everything to make dental work a positive experience for kids. I strongly believe that negative childhood experiences with dentists can deter them from seeking treatment as adults. I don’t have to worry about that at all with Hawaii Family Dental. My grandson is actually excited to go to the dentist!!

Jeff was amazing. He was so friendly, personable and professional. He added the comfort of sunglasses when under the light, which I’ve never had before and made for a better experience. He was quick and efficient, but very detailed. Would definitely recommend him!

All the staff are friendly and helpful. Dr. Brielle is really professional, dedicated and skilled. I am terrified of dentists and all dental procedures but she really made me feel comfortable. Hygienist John is also wonderful. He is friendly and thoughtful. They are both understanding of my ridiculous fear.

Not a good dental office. They have 9 doctors and one hygienist. Both my wife and I have had our cleaning appointments canceled at the last minute. I sat in the office for my appointment for a half hour. I ask what was going on. They crossed my name off the sign-in sheet and didn't call me to the desk. They said my appointment was canceled. I showed them the text I received the day before reminding me of the appointment. They said it was an automated text that they couldn't stop. I do not recommend this office.

First time I heard from my dentist, Dr. Schummer that I have a good healthy gums..He even do personally see and floss my teeth to Make sure that I'm comfortable. Also, I would like to give Jeff, the hygienest a 5 star. He makes me relax and comfortable for telling some interesting story about his family. He is very professional, nice and smoothly clean my teeth. My fear to go to the clinic is gone.😀😊👌

Haven't been to the dentist in years and my wisdom teeth were finally starting to bother me so I made an emergency appointment and they got me in right away!! They took some xrays and came to the conclusion to remove my wisdoms; had to wait for Friday as their oral surgeon is only there on Fridays. Dr.Lum (oral surgeon) was very nice and thorough told me my options in what we can do wether it was taking all my wisdoms or just the one that was affecting me. His assistant Hunter was very nice and sweet she made sure that I was good and comfortable!! The procedure was really fast they got three wisdoms in less than an hour!!

Had a wonderful visit with Dr Sullivan and the staff at HFD. I was being seen for two abscessed teeth, and was feeling uncomfortable, and they were very caring and made me feel at ease. Mahalo!
UPDATE:
Since that first visit I have been seen several times for numerous situations. dental cleaning, x-rays, etc. I have always been treated with respect and with gentle, pain free care. MAHALO

Dr. Oakley and Sabrina and Jeff are absolutely amazing!! They are truly fantastic with my son who has Down syndrome. I couldn't ask for better care for him. They are compassionate, caring, professional, gentle and kind. Hawaii Family Dental is an excellent office for the entire family. I highly recommend them!!

I was required to take a Temperature and was flag at 107. I had to tell her to please check again. Because I was standing in the Hot Sun for a few minutes until someone acknowledge me waiting outside for my appointment check in. She had to use a different termometer, and sure enough, it was at 96. The Dentist was awesome. He made sure I was done quickly. He managed to start the procedure without the assistant in the beginning, due to her being busy with other clients.
