I went in today to specifically get my root canal crown cemented back on after getting loose they ended up not doing it & the crown came out i ended up swallowing it the same day. The dentist easily lifted it up & did nothing about it & now I have to buy a new crown. & pray that I don’t get an infection before finding a new dentist. Do not go here they don’t know what they’re doing they did everything but what I came in for. I told them from the beginning what I needed done & they did nothing about my dental emergency! I am furious

When you deal with a corporation dental establishment like Aspen you've got to be prepared to ask questions and stand your ground. Don't sign or agree to anything just because they pressure you to. They're not going to kill you if you say you need time to think about it, discuss it with others or look over the paperwork. I wouldn't suggest to anyone without a good insurance that is accepted by Aspen or people with the money already on hand to ever use Aspen. The CareCredit will rob you blind if you're not completely on target to pay it off fast and in big chunks. Which isn't a problem for some people. But for those who are already struggling with bills and money issues THIS is your WARNING. You will pay ridiculous interest rates that will drag you under if you use CareCredit. Looking at the probation period where you don't owe anything is a year. Seems like enough time but for a lot of people it's not. Once they start tacking on that interest rate you almost can't ever get above it. So don't be so desperate that you just sign into it. Understand what you're getting into. Don't let anyone pressure, bully or goat you into making ANY decisions that you're not sure of, uncomfortable with or don't want to make an immediate decision on. Same goes for the procedure's. If you find them doing something you don't like or understand. Stop them, tell them no. It's your right as a patient. They have sales to make and they'll push those procedures or products on you because that's what corporately owned dental establishments do but never forget, you're paying them. The ball is ALWAYS in your court. It's always best practice to look over all your billings as well. If somehow they did a procedure on you that you weren't aware of or just didn't know your insurance didn't cover... or even if you just don't like how much it cost, talk to them. Tell them you don't want those services and yes, they do have a right to tell you it's part of mandatory protocol, perhaps it is, you have the right to take your business elsewhere. That being said Aspen is good and has a very helpful and friendly staff. They can be pushy and push procedures that aren't necessarily needed if you don't keep on your guard and stick to your guns. When you know you need something done though, they will do it right. My only advice in closing is this, know that the ball is always in your court, you pay them, you're the customer. Don't allow yourself to be rushed into making a decision. Be logical and reasonable knowing that you're dealing with a corporate dentist and you'll be A OK to be a patient here.

Dr. Guthrie is very professional, kind and understanding. He performed some major surgery on me with skill and aplomb. I am very hard to please, but the results of his work are beyond my expectations.
Tammy and Lindsay were very understanding as well. I am certainly not their easiest or most sympathetic case, yet I was treated like royalty.
I will finish by saying that from what I observed, everyone gets treated as well as I was. What more do you need to know?

After I arrived I was told my insurance was not acceptable by their office. Since I made the appointment over the phone one would think I could have been told that then. Although the remedy was simple my treatment was delayed

My husband went there and came home infuriated. He was there for 3 hours and the only thing he got done was an xray. No one even looked at his xray or teeth. Finally while waiting for someone to see him he left because they told him it would be 45 more minutes before he could be seen. While he was there waiting he said several different folks came in for an appointment but the receptionist could find no record or their appointments. Before my husband left he made another appointment to follow up with the xray and get his teeth cleaned. On the day of his appointment he called just to check the time and guess what???...they had no record of his appointment! And even worse...they couldn't even find where he had been there before! The receptionist said she would look in to it and call him back but....guess what??...she never called back. So....best advise. Choose another dentist. How can a business run like this?? Absolutely ridiculous!

Aspen dental is clearly out to make as much of a profit as possible. I made an appointment to have a chipped tooth repaired. After several x-rays, I was set down for consultation. I was presented with bill for over $3,400 (insurance only covers up to $1,000. The remaining $2,400 would be out-of-pocket) I was then asked to pay $898 that day in order to repair my tooth. Confused, I requested an explanation for such a high estimate. It was explained to me that I would be a "new patient" and the bill was for future treatments and cleanings. I expressed that I had no interest in becoming a "new patient". I just wanted to pay to have my chipped tooth repaired. When I refused to agree to any type of payment plan for future visits, the male dentist refused to repair my tooth. His exact response was, "If you are not going to agree to this, then I refuse to repair your tooth!" Then he stood up and walked away. He was extremely rude, unprofessional, and lacked social skills. I never would have went there but my family dentist retired earlier this year. Thank goodness I was recommended to an excellent dentist that repaired my tooth the next day which was covered by my insurance 100%. There was no out-of-pocket expense or pressure to become a "new patient".
