Don't even think about getting your x-rays from here. They're supposedly stored at "home office" and they need "a week" to get them. They never send them. Never.
I signed consent forms 4 times, the orthodontist never got them.
You're "free" consultation is still billed to the insurance so when you go to another dentist, you'll have to pay out of pocket for more x-rays. Because the ones you signed consent forms for are never sent! Don't even bother asking where they are either, because the employees are the most incompetent excuses of professionals I've ever encountered.
Would give this entire joke of a company a negative 10 rating.

I had recently gotten dentures and needed to have them adjusted due to pain with them not sitting quite right. I worked with Ashley and she was fantastic! Not only did she completely fix the issues with my denture pain, she was personal, professional and I truly enjoyed my time talking with her while she worked!

This was my first visit at Aspen Dental and I loved how friendly and welcoming everyone was. From the front desk to the hygienist and dentist . I was seen promptly for my appointment and everything was explained to me in terms I was able to understand. The staff are very professional, helpful and friendly. Amy ( The office Manager) goes over “treatment plan” and explains what is needed , pricing and payment options. I would highly recommend Aspen Dental if Your looking for an affordable friendly Dental team!

Aspen Dental cleaned my teeth and got me for an extra $1500 for an antibiotic that is ineffective. They tried to get me to pay for 8 fillings, two they wouldn't actually put in, and 4 i later found out i didn't need and tried to get me to pay them $12k for 4 periodontal cleanings a year. my gums were only inflamed and 6 months later it was only gingivitis not at the stage of PD. i only need to brushing better and to start getting regular cleanings. Seriously, stay away from Aspen Dental they reel you in with free x-rays and then you're paying through the nose. im sorry to say i ignored all the red flags like signing up for a CREDIT CARD to pay on the spot and don't look at the bill just look at the price and the scare tactics. go to the local family practice, they might not have corporate overlords who were bought by Big Pharma. All of the 5 star reviews are either from people with perfect teeth or are bought and paid for.
Reviews and Great LifeStyle
I had a terrible experience here and would not recommend anyone choosing this place as a dentist. All they care about is money and before doing anything to your teeth rather you have insurance or not they take you to the business office to talk about payment. I have insurance and they wanted me to pay $5,100 above and beyond my insurance for a deep cleaning. My teeth are fine the dentist said but a deep cleaning would be good... I was going along with it until I met with the business office and she had 3 pages if unnecessary charges covering all of the visits that I would have in the future telling me it will cost me $5,109 out of pocket. I couldn’t believe it so I looked through her itemized list and she then took over $4500 worth of charges off but still wanted $500. I asked her to explain to me why my insurance doesn’t cover this when I have 100% dental coverage through my work and she couldn’t explain it just said this is how it is and printed me the estimate with no itemized break down of course. So I said before I walk out of here your telling me that you will not do any cleaning until I pay at least $500 or do your loan program for the $5,100 you wanted to charge me at first... and she said yes! I couldn’t believe it!!! I grabbed the estimate and walked out and I will be going to another dental clinic that values patient care more than money. This is unethical practice and no one should be treated this way.

I wish I could do 4 1/2. Everyone was very nice, just me in quick, very nice set up and were very informative.
Unfortunately, like most dentist offices, do not accept my health insurance. They gave me a complimentary consultation and helped me out the best they could

I wanted to hold off on reviewing this clinic until I had a second opinion. My experience occurred about 6 months ago, however I still feel the need to give other people the heads up as I seem to not be the only one with the issue I encountered.
Friendly staff and clean environment; however I also experienced a far fetched priced “cleaning consultation”. I went in for a filling that had came out and wanted to know what I was looking at as far as fixing that issue would go. Unfortunately, I was estimated $1800 (that’s with insurance mind you) and that wasn’t even to fix the issue I had originally went in for.
Therefore, I had put off fixing the tooth to start saving so I could afford it and perhaps find a better dentist with a good reputation my peers had gone too. Thankfully, I found one 5 minutes from where this Aspen Dental is located. Unfortunately, the ache had escalated to needing a root canal which I personally feel could have been prevented if these guys had just been honest rather than trying to take advantage of people’s ignorance. I explained what I was told from this office to my new dentist and was told not only was their determination from Xrays incorrect; but they could have messed up a lot of things if they had gone through with their original plan.
All of this is obviously my own personal experience, but right down to the number ($1700 I read in another review I believe) this seems to be a reoccurring situation. Again, friendly staff, good location, and clean environment. I just don’t feel that they’re looking out for their customers best interest and would steer everyone clear of any of these clinics.

BLUF: Aspen at west division st is the worst dental clinic. If you are looking for good dental clinic, please avoid it at all cost. You will be better off in any other location, for sure. They are ripping off money from customers. Their dental charges are 5 times higher than regular costs.

Thorough, friendly, and professional.
It had been a long time since I'd seen a dentist and apparently a lot has changed. X-rays are computerized and there are small TVs to watch instead of ceiling posters for while you wait.
I think that I was given all of the appropriate information and, had I not been in so much pain at the time, I would have been able to ask more questions. I really do like that billing is laid out beforehand. I think it's smart for both parties and the gal who helped me with mine was very helpful.
Bottom line: take care of your teeth and/or bring someone with you to ask questions if you might not be able to do so for yourself.
