Desert Hills Dental

This was by far my best experience at a dentist ever. Dr. Staten and her staff take the time to work with you on a treatment plan and Dr Staten goes over everything and explains how it will be done step by step. The fact that I felt no pain when they were working on me still blows my mind and no pain after. Dr Staten and her staff are very caring and the best in the business.

All the staffs are very accommodating and Dr. Staten is very good.

Went in for a teeth cleaning. The staff was great, they took the necessary precautions to make sure the place was clean and that everyone was safe. Nicole took care of me during my visit. She explained each step of the process and made sure to address any and all questions/concerns. I will be going here for future dental needs.

Love this dentist, they make you feel like family! Amazing energy from the second you step into the door. We are so happy we found them and can’t wait to stay with them for many more years. Thank you for making the not most pleasant thing to do, more comfortable and enjoyable ❤️

Having your teeth worked on is not something anyone wants to spend his/her day but Dr. Staten, John and everybody on her staff make the experience more pleasant. Honestly never had a bad visit, they are always very polite and courteous. Love them!

The thing I didn't like here is that the dentist's husband is running the office and he was coming and pushing the doctor to hurry. No, he is not dentist. After 2 appointments the small adjustment to a crown could not be started at all. Next day I am calling for 3 Rd appointment to complete the initial exam and her husband is arguing with me... He is edgy, and feels that you are not under dentist, but under businessman... I am making U turn on time...

I stumbled onto this place years ago, as they were one of the few offices that accepted my company's denral insurance. Needless to say it's better to be lucky than good. This is the very best team of dentists and dental hygienists I've ever found, anywhere. They truly care about providing excellent dental care and service. I've been recommending them to my friends and family ever since.

Another great visit today at Desert Hill Dental. Nicole was my hygienist today and she was awesome. They have the social distancing down so you can safety get you teeth done here. John and Dr Staten run a great practice. Highly recomend

The worst experience ever! I'm new to this clinic and came first time a few months ago to do a filling. Month later that filling came out and I had to wait for next appointment in pain to re-do it.
Doctor also told me that I have to do a crown or I will lose the tooth eventually, so I scheduled an appointment. On that appointment I told the doctor that I don't feel comfortable doing the crown since she couldn't do even do the filling properly. In addition it was almost the holidays and in case a follow up is needed - everything is closed. She spoke to me for 10 mins and promised it's going to be alright.
Nothing was alright! After I few hours doctor said it's all done and left saying: can't wait to have a drink after that. But her assistant kept taking x-rays of the same tooth I could tell something was wrong. She called Dr. Staten again and doctor extracted a piece of instrument that she broke during operation, left in the tooth and didn't even notice that!!!
Next day I woke up with a swollen cheek and day after it got worse and I had to look for a doctor (during Thanksgiving) and take antibiotics all week. And nobody would even follow up if I was ok!
After 2 months I got a bill to pay from that clinic(crown and 2 fillings $1600). I already paid my part ($400) and called insurance to see what is going on.
They told me that:
First: The crown was not necessary on that tooth. Just a filling would be sufficient!!!

Second: for the other teeth - I already had fillings done before and the clinic was supposed to tell me up-front that insurance will not cover it again. Instead I was supposed to go to the doctor who put these fillings to re-do for free. They didn't tell me that.

I came today to see what they have to say about it. They didn't care much and lied to my face that it was explained to me that I'll have to pay to whole amount. Than front desk told me it says somewhere on the paper they gave me to sign and all the stuff like that.
But the worst thing, in response to me complaining about here leaving an instrument in my tooth Dr. Staten said that (I quote):
"No one is f..king perfect"
And she doesn't see anything wrong with me going through all that. And she said "doesn't matter, we'll send it to collections".
If you know that you are far from being perfect maybe you shouldn't work as a dentist!
Avoid this clinic as much as possible!

Desert Hills Dental was able to get me in right away since I was experiencing low level pain. From the wait in the car and electronic registration they are very safe and super clean!!
The best part is when a crown is needed they do the whole process right in the office on the same day. No second appointment needed. Yes, you're in the office for a few hours but it's so much more efficient. I usually listen to a book or watch a moving between processing. The staff is friendly and considerate.
