It is a rarity that you "don't mind" going to the dentist! To have genuinely caring people work with and "on" you makes a HUGE difference. Resolve this year to switch to a dentist that cares.

This is probably one of the worst business practice that i have witnessed going to Dental office. I checked in this week to Desert Hills Dental, leaving my former Dentist that I had for ten years because I changed a new address which happened to be far from my current address. After my first visit, they told me to come back for deep cleaning, and my co-pay will be $50, and and gave me bill statement. On the appointment day, the Hygienist assessed my tooth and gave a professional advise, that I do not need total deep cleaning but still the receptionist brought a $92 bill statement (almost double of the original quote, while i was required less treatment) and made me sign, and after all procedure is completed the receptionist told me to pay $125 because I need to pay for local anesthesia that the hygienist used. I am a medical professional and I know all these stuff, but I acted professional and pay the bill because i can afford it and do not want to be that difficult patient. However, Observing everything, I have never seen this level of dishonest billing practice in medical centers so far. I know health care is a business and can run and bill the way the corporate wants but it should not be by deceiving the vulnerable patient. I think it should need be some level of moral standard than other business. I checked the reviews prior coming to Desert Hills Dental and even recommended my friend to go there based on the reviews, but his experience also the same, "full of deceptions", like me, which made him pay more than what originally quote was and singed, and gave him silly excuse for additional cost. I do not know how Desert Hills can continues to compute with competitors with this behavior, that time will tell, but as of me and my family, I already made my decision for now, my family average $3800 yearly dental expense will not go to Desert Hills Dental!!!!!

Desert Hills Dental got my husband right in to fix a broken filling. He ended up needing a crown. They are always extra caring with him because of his nervousness going to the dentist. They were able to get everything done in just a few hours. They are always very professional and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr Staten is the best😊

Wow for going to the dentist this was a great experience. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very inviting. Overall from scheduling my appointment to having my teeth cleaned and x-rayed it couldn’t have gone any better.

I have been to many dentists in my life. None of them can compare to Dr. Staten and her awesome team! They all show how much they care everytime I come in. I'm welcomed in as apart of the family! Their outgoing personalities keep me laughing, something you need when your tooth is about to be drilled, lol. Dr. Staten is super gentle, never felt a shot! I super appreciate every single team member and will send everyone I know because without a doubt they will have a great experience, just as I have!
