Sometimes it is hard to find a dentist that you can feel trustworthy with. As a child having a bad experience with a dentist has me a little anxious each time I have to visit a dentist for a check-up or a filling. I came in about a week ago to have a tooth fixed and saw Dr. Hatch. Of course already being nervous that I have to be at a dentist office to get a tooth fixed of course I was reserved. Dr. Hatch and his team were very thorough and explained every detail to me before it was done. Most of us don't like having a needle shoved in our mouth but I must say this was the best experience I have ever had. Sometimes they say no pain no gain but I definitely had no pain and lots to gain. Dr. Hatch was able to successfully repair a tooth that could have possibly needed pulled. By far the best dentist I have seen in 35 years. Hats off to Dr. Hatch, Dr. Nelson, Dr. Gunnell, and the entire team at Derby dental care for making this one of my best experiences ever.
----2021 Update. Even though the name has stayed the same Derby Dental Care was sold to Wichita Dentistry. The level of customer service and customer care is lackluster at best. You make an appointment, show up on time and then wait 45 minutes to more than hour to be seen. The staff is extremely unfriendly and their patients seem to be their last priority. As a long time patient of Derby Dental Care I highly recommend you choose a different Dental Care provide as you will not receive the level of care you may have once received when Dr. Nelson owned the practice.

I had a dental emergency today, and was so appreciative when they said they could squeeze me in at 5:00pm. I got there and knew that I was going to more than likely have a root canal. They close at 6:00, but remained open late so that I could get the BEST dental care! Dr. Pierson and his crew (Gaby & Diana) were just amazing! I was in so much pain when I got there, and by the time they were done, I was feeling absolutely NO pain!

5 Star Service! I was referred to Derby Dental Care by the McConnell Dental clinic due COVID19. I am extremely thankful because I became an instant fan of the courteous staff. My experience was extraordinary and I will definitely be returning. My cleaning was accomplished by Samantha. She was very kind and thorough. She also provided me with information about my brushing technique that no other Dental Hygienist had ever informed me. I am forever grateful to her. Thank you Derby Dental Clinic and Samantha.
