Higginbotham Family Dental in Bartlett, TN

Very nice office and skilled dentists and higienists. Audrey is great, very thorough. Honest people, won’t tell you need a service you really don’t need as many I went. Brighter smile, today 😁
I will keep coming… 5 stars.

I went here after reading the good reviews and sadly I was very disappointed. I waited a week to write this review because I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because I did encounter a couple of workers who were really nice and friendly during my visit. If I remember correctly the one who assisted me from the start to finish was Mattie and she was very nice. I felt she was genuine. However, I still have not heard back from anyone regarding my treatment plan for a tooth that was bothering me although, I was told I would get a call the next day which I understood since it was late in the day. That has yet to happen. In my experience usually you have your treatment plan before you leave. If that isn't enough my husband who was in the waiting room was so uncomfortable/offended because he could hear the staff bad mouthing a customer who wanted to get a payment plan. The deal breaker for me is the hygienist I had. She came off as friendly initially but by the time she finished I regretted coming to the office. At one point I felt like she was a pushy salesman between her trying to sell me a fluoride treatment and a electric toothbrush. If they were offered in a different manner I would have gladly purchased those items but, I also felt that she was a bit condescending. I take care of my teeth well but, honestly like Billions of people worldwide I did delay my dental appointment due to the pandemic. She was going on and on about plaque, telling me to floss everyday(which I do), and other things. At one point, she even said she didn't even know if she could get the plaque off my teeth entirely??? It was that uncomfortable. Again I take care of my teeth daily and even the dentist who checked my teeth after her said 'pretty good.' She put me on the defense but I CHOSE not to say anything because why do I have to?? I was there for a cleaning. Everyone knows the the state of the world. Everyone has been affected. So I felt that it was a bit insensitive and I even had to mention my problem tooth. It's like after all the talking and upselling the problem tooth should have been noticed or at the very least more of the conversation. It wasn't and because of my experience and my husband's experience we both left with a bad feeling.

I just had a teeth cleaning at Higginbotham Family Dentist,
not only is this place professional and relatively quick, I strongly suggest you ask for the hygienist Audrey.
Not only is she funny and a blast to work with, the cleaning was relatively painless and her assistant Cameron was also awesome making me feel like I was almost at home getting this cleaning done.
I also approve of her taste in comedy movies.

Good morning, this is by far the best dentist in Memphis I’ve ever been too. They are quick, they care for your teeth. They get you in and out. There’s pretty much no wait. But what really got me was the customer service. ASHLEY was so helpful from starting on the phone, to when I first pulled up, the way she greeted me and then I got seen within 5 mins. She so sweet and have much high spirits and much respect for her clients. She care for your well-being, she’s helpful with anything you need far as paper work, scheduling and getting you what you need. I just had the best experience EVER. I thank you guys so much. Ashley your the best ❤️ I think I’ve found my new home.

I had a cleaning appointment today at Higginbotham Family Dental. The front desk staff was professional and polite. I was greeted with smiles immediately. A very nice lady named Audrey did my cleaning. I have anxiety going to any doctor's office; however, her calm voice and demeanor quickly made me much more comfortable. She gave me some great tips/guidance on how to better care for my teeth between cleanings. Dr. Fitzhugh was very friendly. He answered the questions I had and was super nice. I highly recommend this practice. I must mention when I left to check out at the end of my visit, the two ladies who assisted me were quick and efficient. And again, I was met with a smile. Great group of people!

Only my second time coming here but it’s always been a good experience! The staff is friendly and work to get you in and out. Audrey has been my hygienist both visits and she is so helpful and informative, love her personality! Would definitely recommend!

I’ve been going to Higginbotham Dental in Bartlett for almost a year now. I’ve had a great experience every time. Audrey is a fantastic hygienist and makes you feel very comfortable and at ease and Ashley at the front desk always greets you with a smile and is very knowledgeable about benefits and makes sure her patients are well taken care of. I highly recommend this dentist office.

Absolutely incredible staff. Kind and explained everything to me in simple terms. Paid attention to everything I said and made an experience that I was not looking forward to enjoyable.

I had a great experience at the Bartlett location. I came in for an appointment after 15 years of no dental care. I expressed my anxiety and embarrassment to the staff and they made me feel very comfortable. Audrey was my hygienist and she explained what she was doing every step of the way. She explained preventative methods and the importance of follow up visits. I was explained all costs that would be owed prior to scheduling any procedures and follow ups that were required by my Dentist. I am feeling so much better about the entire experience and look forward to going back. Highly recommend this dental practice!
