Everyone in this office is fantastic! The front desk team is super friendly. They communicate in advance regarding your insurance, benefits, and appointments. The dental assistants and hygienists are very professional, kind, and thorough. Dr. Fitzhugh has a great demeanor, personality, and patient care. You walk in and leave feeling like family.

Love this dentist office! Me, my husband and our 5 year old all go. The dentists and assistants are so sweet to our daughter. She loves going to the dentist, because of them and that’s the best thing I can ask for for my kids. Everyone is very friendly and creates a comfortable environment.

Had to call numerous times about bill to finally get someone on the phone. Was hung up on by Georgia, immediately called back and was sent to voicemail. Left a voicemail, never heard back. Received a text message asking what I needed help with, no response.
Was told by Fitzhugh that amalgam replacement fillings would be covered by insurance (nothing was wrong with the amalgam fillings other than being unsightly) , only to be left with a bill of $197.40 out of $318 for two fillings. I REPEATEDLY asked if this would be covered by insurance, was told yes from Fitzhugh and office staff because it was considered preventative care because the current amalgam fillings would later result in root canals.
Now Lindsey at the front desk is saying ‘nothing is guaranteed’ and the office manager Malissa Hoard is laughing at me because I’m upset and she doesn’t understand why.
How can something go from a charge of $31.80 to $197 and you all expect someone to be okay with it? This literally looks like you all did a bait and switch for your own profit.
I was referred to you all by a Bartlett Police officer, I’ll relay this information back to him so you don’t do this again to someone else.
EDIT: It gets worse, the dental office never sent the pre treatment estimate to my insurance provider. The insurance provider stated the amalgam filling replacements wouldn’t be covered under preventive care because it was unnecessary to replace them so it would’ve been denied. Malissa Hoard is now back tracking, stating her office staff went on the insurance provider website to confirm prices.
Y’all are a trip.

I have been coming to Higginbotham for several years now, Ms. Audrey is phenomenal! She always takes great care of me and makes sure I'm comfortable. You can tell she genuinely enjoys her job and takes pride in her work! The rest of the staff are always so friendly and positive. If you're in search of a dental office, this is the place to go! The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The Hygienist Audrey took great care of my teeth and gave me a lot of helpful tips to keep my teeth healthy and clean. The Doctor was friendly and knowledgeable in providing me with a treatment plan that works best for me. I will be making the Higginbotham Dental Office my forever Dental Home. Already feel at home. Staff is extremely nice and welcoming. My genre of music played while waiting on my dentist. They are family from this point forward. I strongly recommend. They go In great detail about your teeth issues and treatment. Ask for Audrey and Dr. Fitzhugh! They are wonderful!
