Will not be returning.
I'm not sure how they are getting away with nickel and diming everyone, but Aspen is all about THEIR money.
Went in for a tooth ache. Found other cavities, plus needed a quad scale performed. Then find out that #13 needs a root canal.
Even with insurance, they were going to charge $2,000 for filing cavities and quad scale. DID NOT INCLUDE ROOT CANAL that they were just going to refer out to endo.
Won't give you break down of costs. Won't work with us on payment plan.
Now I'm on a waiting list to go to UK Student Dental Clinic because my DHMO won't pay for anywhere else.
Dr. Price, you seem very intelligent and competent. I truly hope you go practice elsewhere, where they actually care about patients who can't afford their scam.

I am in love with Aspen Dental in Lexington! After eight years of avoiding the terrible dentist I grew up with, the staff at Aspen Dental has helped me over come my dentist fears! They are always punctual, if not a little ahead of schedule, and they get me in and out as quickly as possible. Evening and weekend appointments are wonderful for busy professionals like me! I wish I could rate them higher than Excellent!!!

I continue to have a wonderful experience at the lexington location! The dentist is great and always make's me smile. And the dental assistants are great to me, especially Bethany Anderson she always keep a conversation going and is very polite! I am very grateful to have Aspen as my dentist

I scheduled my appointment several weeks out. I received a text message about my appointment the day before. I responded with “confirm” and I received a message saying “thank you for confirming your appointment”. The morning of my appointment I show up and they tell me that my appointment has been canceled because they did not get a verbal confirmation...then what is the point of the text that says “thank you for confirming your appointment”. The lady tells me I can wait about an hour or she reschedule me ...I’m 9 months pregnant, I can’t just reschedule my appointment, plus I had another appointment planned for after the dentist appointment so now I have to move everything around because they have issues with their communication systems.

DO NOT GO HERE! As a graduate student without dental insurance I visited ASPEN Dental and was told I needed 3 root canals which cost me close to $8,000. All 3 root canals have failed and I am now most likely going to lose all 3 teeth requiring dental implants which are very expensive. Their customer service representative was incredibly rude and dismissive of my situation. ASPEN Dental is now refusing to offer any kind of financial help or reimbursement for their failed procedures. $8,000 for absolutely nothing. Sickening.

I went in for an estimate on a crown for my front tooth implant and was told that if I didn’t pay about $1400 for a cleaning, scaling, and root planing along with some antibiotic injections then I would not be able to pay another $600 for the crown to be placed. Now I can’t get my front tooth crown until I come up with $2000 to get it all done at once. I understand that the other treatments are important and necessary but I am walking around with a front tooth missing. I didn’t qualify for the fortiva or care credit so I guess I’m just SOL. Every dentist office I have been to is the same. When are we going to get a dentist who looks at the person instead of the $$$$.

This place is FANTASTIC! Dr. Young is the best dentist I’ve ever seen. Office staff is supportive & informing, they are also WONDERFUL about call backs & communicating. If you are scared of the dentist, this is the place to go!

Filling they made kept breaking. Repeatedly went back. Different dentist every time with inconsistent approach and commentary on why the filling was breaking. Zero adjustment to practice or alternate solutions other than insisting I would need a much more expensive crown. Kept charging me despite the issue being their quality. When I asked for the fee to be waived due to the consistent failure of their work, they refused.
Went to a competitor who in detail assessed the work and filling was handled without issue.

Your initial visit is xrays and a consultation. NOT a cleaning. I had just moved to the area and wanted a cleaning before the holidays with my new insurance. Instead they only looked at my teeth for a few minutes and then told me to get a complete cleaning would be $2600 AFTER MY INSURANCE. And they wouldnt do a basic cleaning unless I committed to the full payment up front
I walked out. I'll pay out of pocket for a basic cleaning elsewhere without the strong arm tactic.. except now it's a week before the holidays so I won't be able to get appointment this quickly.
Lesson learned.. read the fine print.
