I didn't have to wait long to be seen, after arriving for my appointment. The staff was very nice, I saw a temporary dentist, which explained everything to me and made recommendations that no one else ever addressed. My overall visit was painless.

On Oct. 13, 2017 at 9:30 am, I had a temporary crown made, and set using temporary adhesive.
On Oct. 18, 2017 at 7:00 am, I had an appointment to make a new impression for a new permanent crown.
On Nov. 1, 2017 at 7:00 am, I had a follow up appointment to seat the new permanent crown.
At all three appointments, I was promptly called to begin. I had no more than a short wait in the dental chair. Dr. Loren Fey assessed my dental problems accurately. She communicated respectfully, professionally and clearly, but also with refreshing kindness. Alyssa assisted in like manner, with no complications. Both were professional in their communication and in their fine quality dental work. Amanda has been professional and welcoming from day one of my dental experience with Aspen Dental.
Bottom line, I have had a consistent and very positive dental experience. And I highly recommend Dr. Loren Fey, Alyssa and Amanda at Aspen Dental (5607 Slide Road, Suite 200, Lubbock, TX 79414).

I went in to get help with a very painful broken tooth, but what I got was an estimate for $6,000 in dental work with no help for the problem tooth. Staff was great. But I just need one tooth stabilized or pulled until I could get more money for serious dental work.

My recent visit to Aspen Dental in Lubbock TX was truly 5 stars. My appointment was at 7am and I was in the chair to begin my cleaning at 7:10am :-) I was greeted when I arrived by the receptionist and my dental hygienist Susan was very informative, pleasant, complementary, thorough and kind. Throughout the cleaning Susan talked me through what she was doing, wiped the excess water from my face to make sure my make-up stayed fresh for work afterward, answered my questions post cleaning and even demonstrated tips on how to floss! She wasn't condescending and I felt very taken care of. With all of that --> I was able to leave and make it to work on time!!! Susan is an all star!!

Here's my honest review. I have gone to Aspen Dental at this location for years since I went to college and now after graduating I still go here. I have not had any issues with dentists or hygienists. However the receptionist was very rude and dismissive. I went in for a 7 AM appointment and was told after waiting for 10 minutes I would need to reschedule, so I did. The reason for my reschedule was because I was supposed to see 2 dental hygienists, and one should have contacted me yesterday. Well if they were supposed to contact me and she knew about it why didn't she contact me, or anyone make an effort to. I then received confirmations for my new appointment at 5:30 and then it was changed to 5:00 without my knowledge, I called 3 times before speaking to someone in the office. When I arrived at my appointment my insurance was checked in front of me to see if I had coverage. I was literally asked to stand at the front desk while she checked my plan, it was embarrassing as if I didn't have coverage, even though I did... If there was an issue I could have been contacted or told at that 7 AM appointment when I had to reschedule. On top of that I watched as she saw the phone ring and didn't even pick it up. I would also like to point out that I only saw one dental hygienist and a dentist like a normal appointment, so I'm a little unsure why I was rescheduled the first time. Although the other staff is really kind, an office is only as good as the front desk. I'm looking to find a new dentist office. The lack of customer service I received from the front desk was unacceptable. Maybe that's a little much, but I will stop going here because of front desk staff. They are a reflection of the company/practice as a whole, if peoples appointments are wrong, if she's telling me someone else should have contacted me she is not taking ownership of her faults and that's throwing other employees under the bus.

Very disappointed with this location. I have gone to Aspen Dental in N.Y for many years and never once had a problem of any sort. My appointment here was originally for 12 noon, but I received a call at 8am asking if I can come in earlier for an appointment at 11 am, I agreed and was at my appointment by 10:23 am. I waited for almost two hours until I finally walked out. My problem with this is that they had no care in the world to waist my time! I had been in the hospital all night long, didn’t get any sleep, and my brother was going into surgery, but I really wanted to keep my appointment so I went. You don’t know what people are going through in life to waist their time and Not even apologize or call to see what happened, or what can they do!? Absolutely not ok!!! Needles to say I won’t go back!!
