Real Life Dental

I absolutely hate getting my cavities filled, so much so that I just cry in the chair but the dentists who have worked on my teeth here have always been phenomenal! They are so caring and genuine, they make the process much less scary than it used to be at my old dentist. I truly love having Real Life Dental taking care of me 🥰

Real Life Dental is simply the best dental practice I have ever been to, and I am speaking from 60+ years of experience! I had horrible and painful dental care during my childhood and so avoided all dental care for a number of years. My anxiety level was very high whenever I did go because I expected pain and bad news. But Real Life Dental is fabulous. When they say "no judgement zone", they mean it. Everyone in the office has a very positive attitude and actually make my visits a pleasant experience! I was initially treated by the staff at the Blacksburg office. I needed to have several problems addressed on my first visit including a crown. I was very anxious and asked for sedation because crowns I had done at other practices had been very uncomfortable procedures. But at Real Life, I was very comfortable; the dentist and hygienists were great. I continued with regular visits until the opening of the Christiansburg office where I have been treated by Dr. Que Le. I hope she never leaves! At my first visit with her we discussed options for ensuring I could keep my teeth as long as possible. She has taken me through a lot of work over the past two years, including crowns, and due to her gentle manner, I have not needed any sedation! I am very pleased with the condition of my teeth now. Dr. Le and the hygienists provide thorough explanations of procedures and oral care. They always ask about any concerns or questions I have. I highly recommend Real Life, especially if you have any anxiety about dental care. They will take excellent care of you!

Great staff, short wait times, superior teeth cleaning!

I have Always had a wonderful experiance with RLD. Have always been terrified of Dental Appointments, but that first visit changed that fear. The entire team is great! Dr Hoff is the best ,Brandy goes above and beyond caring, Bailey is very caring and gentle, always stopping and asking if you are doing ok. Tara always trys getting you in for appt, when its fits your schedule, and her customer service is great! I am very Happy at RLD!

Great visit. I love this place! My first time at the Christiansburg location and it exceeded my expectations as it had every other time. Great staff, friendly and they seem to care about what you need.

Stated they called days ago and there were no voicemails when they said they called but yet Lexi called at 8:12 am today at my home number to and said I had until 12 to confirm and and they canceled my appointment two days before I was scheduled to come then sent a email to say I missed it because I was at work and unable to check my home phone messages for that short window of time I had to confirm. On a separate occasion my child had a tooth break off yet he couldn’t be worked in with them for several weeks. Took him Cook Family Dentist and seen same day.

I’m a new patient & I was extremely satisfied with my first visit! I have a broken tooth & every dentist I called were trying to schedule months out. I was referred to Dr. Kahn by a coworker was able to be worked in to be seen within 2 days of calling! Not only is the office very clean & modern, but most importantly, the people were delightful! From the receptionist to the Dr., everyone was very welcoming & took time to answer any & all questions I had & explain my treatment plan. I was very comfortable & felt that I was actually listened to. I don’t usually write reviews, but I was so pleased with my experience, a 5-star rating & good review is certainly worth my time to give! I will absolutely be back & definitely don’t plan on going anywhere else! FYI- Dr. Kahn’s “bedside manner” is incredible & in my opinion, very rare these days. She was so kind & sweet! I highly recommend!

Not one of my favorite things but they made it Not a bad experience at all, every one was really nice.

On May 09 2022 I easily had the very best dental experience of my life. I can't thank Dr. Sharlee Neubert, Isabel and the entire office staff enough.
I had been suffering with extreme pain with an abscessed wisdom tooth and molar and honestly was dreading going to any dentist because of the extra pain I thought I was going to endure. To my surprise it went better than I could ever imagined.
Not only was Dr. Neubert and Isabel extremely professional but also so kind and understanding. They listened to my concerns and didn't make me feel like they were in a hurry. They both did such an excellent job that I left without any pain after they extracted out two broken and abscessed teeth that I didn't even need to take ibuprofen or anything that evening or the days after.
Dr. Sharlee Neubert is a superior doctor and I'm sure that Isabel will be one also.
They both are truly awesome!
Again I can't thank them and the entire staff enough for everything they did.
I would recommend anyone with any type of dental needs to go to Real Life Dental for the best dental experience a person could have.

I had to go back because I had a bridge break. It cost me a lot of money but, they worked it out and got it replaced for free! Dr. Thompson did my work. He is awesome! I wish he was my regular dentist even though I love Dr. Kahn. BTW (She didn’t do the bridge). I recommend real life to everyone & if you are lucky enough to get Dr. Thompson, Yay!! He makes going to the dentist kinda fun & definitely pain free. He has a “pain free zone”
