As a new patient I can say the staff at Real Life Dental are very friendly, kind and professional. It’s a very pretty and big modern style dental office where X-rays are done in your procedure room with a screen for viewing your X-ray! No waiting. My follow up appointment was available right away. No waiting. Dental procedures are explained thoroughly and choices are given for different options. I was very pleased.

The best dentist office I have ever been to in my life. Every single person that works there is extremely friendly. They are very caring so it makes for a very pleasant and comfortable experience at all times. I would definitely recommend Real Life Dental to anyone who is in need of a dentist. They truly are the best out there!

If I could give zero stars, I would. First, they have the worst turn around time of any business I’ve done business with. Good luck getting a hold of anyone, or have someone call you back. It’s taken over a month for them to go from the original consult to actually scheduling the procedure at hand. Secondly, their business practices are slightly off. They want you to pre-pay what they think insurance won’t pay, then bill the insurance company after the fact. And then they’ll refund you the difference, God knows when you’d see that money. The only alternative is for them to take an additional 2 to 4 weeks to reach out to your insurance company to see exactly what they’d pay. You would think this could be achieved with a single phone call. (I could call for them, or show them what my insurance coverage, per my contract) but that isn’t good enough. Terrible customer service, terrible turn around time, and terrible business practice. Do not recommend.

I went to this dentist with a tooth issue which I was grateful for them working me in. I loved how great the place is from the tour and staff. But fast forward after I left the area and went to a new dentist when I moved from the area…to find out the filling they used on the one tooth was over done and has excessive overhang to the neighboring tooth. My current dentist said it would need to be repaired or it could crack and I’d need a cap to replace it because there isn’t much left for integrity. It makes me frustrated and sad because I was showed all the glitz and glam of the facility and then taken advantage of! I was a student at the time, and feel parents trust local businesses around VT to be accommodating to fellow Hokies. I am disgruntled and feel like I paid for the Cadillac of service but got a lemon of a product.

The staff at real life dental are all amazing. I was very anxious about being at the dentist and my hygienist was so kind and supportive of my anxiety. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed my nerves. The office is so clean and professional. The dentists are super knowledgeable and have great bedside manner. I would highly recommend this office to anyone.

Had to get 2 wisdom teeth pulled. They were amazing. The friendliest staff I have ever encountered! They were quick and efficient. Everyone explained everything very well! Will never go to any other office! Made me feel comfortable and welcome and like they really wanted to help me feel better!

It is a beautiful office, very calming. I have never had an experience like this one. They gave me a full tour of the office, all the hygienist pods, the equipment they use, even the sterilization process that occurs on all their tools, and a machine that makes a crown. You can have a crown made and placed in a two hour visit.
Both my hygienist, Melissa and Dr. Matt were very impressive, full explanation of the services needed. They didn't rush me through, they treated me like they had all day to answer my questions.
Trust me this is not your grandmother's dentist experience!

Best experience I have ever had at a dentist. Called just to see if they accepted new patients and they were even able to get me in the same day for a cleaning. Then a next day appointment to fix the things my teeth needed. My hygienist Michelle was wonderful and showed me around and explained every thing she was going to do. I will be recommending them to all my family and friends.
