I went in for a consultation on a removal. The Dr walked me through what my options were and had excellent bedside manner. He worked hard to make sure I wasn't in pain during the procedure. The entire staff were also kind, courteous and helpful.

Went for a 6 month cleaning and service has previously been wonderful, caring and of wonderful quality. Today, my cleaning was very rough, stabbing my tongue several times without apology. I understand each mouth poses its unique set of challenges, however the handling appeared rough and somewhat rushed. I was not offered fluoride during the visit, which I noticed after leaving the appointment. Following the cleaning, I discussed a consult for a dental procedure with Dr. Matthew Hofrichter. His bedside manner was callous at best. He completely dismissed the previous consult history and informed me I was “not a great candidate for the procedure.” Which, great, I don’t want to pay for a procedure that isn’t beneficial; but delivery matters. When talking about health and treatment, time, efficiency and careful delivery matters. At end of visit, I wasn’t offered the usual grab bag of new tooth brush, toothpaste and floss. It seemed that my questioning and self-advocacy were frustrating for the dentist, as well as to the dental hygienist. I’ve loved Real Life Dental for years, and that changed vastly today!

Two stars because my dentist is fantastic. Real life dental as a whole is miserable to deal with. They never answer the phone. They never return phone calls. They do business by texting only. Too bad real life dental took over. Blue ridge dental by itself was fantastic.

Wonderful staff, beautiful room views, they also have a TV above you in each room to make your experience as relaxed as possible and they offer sedation dentistry!! This place is a winner. I only wished I was able to have my services performed day of. Not their fault though…
