I had my first dental cleaning with them and as someone who has a lot of anxiety going to the dentist, they were AMAZING. They constantly made sure I was comfortable, they were extremely welcoming, and very friendly! I’m suggesting them to all of my friends and family, no doubt.

Extremely nice and I didn't feel any pain at all! I'm usually the one that freaks out but I was kindly surprised by how gentle and caring they were. I'm a first time patient and they saw me the next day after I called. Very responsive and professional!

I selfishly debated sharing my review because I don't want my dentist to be full anytime I need to see her. However, Dr. Khan is probably the best dentist I have seen and I say that as someone that hates going to the dentist. I've had both routine and specialty appointments with her and each time she has been so incredibly kind and thoughtful. She is always willing to answer questions or provide more detail. She also lets me know what she is doing and walks me through what the process will be like. I have nothing but good things to say about her and I have even seen how kind and good she is with the staff which just further solidifies how great she is.

When my last dentist told me that they were too busy to allow me to reschedule my appointment around my holiday travel, I was forced to find a new dentist. A friend recommended Real Life Dental, and they managed to schedule me for a cleaning the very next day. They sent me the paperwork right away to fill out at my convenience. When I arrived, I was pleasantly greeted at the front counter, and then taken back for my appointment immediately without waiting at all. My dental hygienist, Chelsa, was extremely friendly and thoughtful. She gave me a tour of the office and made sure I was comfortable and informed throughout the entire appointment. And if that wasn't enough, they gave me a nice gift for being a new patient. Frankly, I have never been more impressed with a dental office and I highly recommend Real Life Dental.

The folks at Real Life Dental are absolutely phenomenal. The staff is friendly from as soon as you walk in the door and everyone I interacted with was both helpful and knowledgeable. This was the best dentist visit I’ve had in years!

Dr. Thompson is a special person and he's got top notch skills. He worked me into his busy schedule quickly for a tooth extraction and temporary bridge. I'm an extremely difficult patient and have always received exceptional treatment from everyone at Real Life Dental. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

I highly recommend Real Life Dental in Blacksburg VA, especially if you have a severe dentist-phobia like I do.

They're a very calming, kind group of people who seem to sincerely want to help you - not only with your dental health but also your emotional mindset.

They have TVs on the ceiling above each chair and offer laughing gas for those extra-traumizing procedures!

The only reason I don't give them a 5 star rating is because, while I have always had very pleasant experiences for basic dentist appointments and for emergencies, it's still anxiety causing to me. But based on the people working there, they'd get 5 stars all day long!

I don’t really write reviews unless the place has left a huge impact on me. Real Life Dental, knows how to make you comfortable when it comes to everything during your visit. They make an effort to narrow down what you would like to focus on during each visit. I have focused on making sure my gums are comfortable instead of inflamed all the time. My gums and teeth have definitely felt a whole more healthier since I started going to them. It’s difficult to have healthy gums and teeth because my teeth are unaligned. At Real Life Dental, they do their best to help me and give me tips. The best part is that, I always end up leaving with a goodie bag of things for my teeth, I end up using while traveling. I highly recommend Real Life Dental!

Tonight was my first time at Real Life Dental. First of all, I was very grateful to have a 6pm appointment so that I could go after work. I was amazed by the experience I had there, it felt like I was in a futuristic film. There was a tv in the ceiling so I could watch while my teeth were cleaned. Everything is just over and above for our comfort. And most importantly, the people there are kind and accommodating. They want to get to know you, and special shout out to my hygienist Andrea who did a great job. 10/10 good work people!!!!
